Writing Here on Literacy Base

Hello all,

So this is my first blog post here on Literacy Base despite having signed up last August. I am only writing now because different circumstances, a little bit of confusion, and a lot of writer’s block forced me to not upload a post the way I wanted to. However, I realized that to an extent it doesn’t really matter what I write. By that, I mean that this blog here doesn’t have to be themed or eloquent or even interesting, I suppose. It can just be a place for me to get my thoughts out.

Which is kind of weird, I guess. It seems that a lot of people don’t really use this site as a traditional blogging platform but as a self-aware means of communication, self-aware referring to the intentional use for making money. I’m not sure if a lot of people have taken to the same personal diary route I am embarking on as I have not done as much research as I should’ve (again due to the aforementioned inactivity). But whether or not that’s a present norm, that’s what I’m going to do anyway.

My goal is to post at least one blog post and a few status updates everyday. Not just because it’s an easy way to make money but because I definitely need the opportunity to talk.

Additionally, past the personal diary side, I am probably going to talk about my multitude of interests as well. Just anything I want to. I don’t believe that it will be too hard to write 300 words or so everyday. I admit this article is cutting it close because I’m not really one for introductions. I like showing rather than telling.

If people read this and decide to come back, great, welcome aboard. If they don’t, that’s alright too. Maybe this stems a fundamental misunderstanding about how funds are raised on this site, but I don’t really mind.
