Treat others as you would like them to treat you

Most often we are not interested in something without a reason, just for ourselves. We rare seek goals for ourselves, don’t prove anything. But, say, if we fall in love, immediately arises inspiration – we versify, we paint pictures, we take first places if participate in something. We evolve – for someone. Some people doing that because of parents, some may because of beloved, the husband or wife, someone is doing that for God. In order to continue to live, we need stimulus, inspiration.

Everything has a reason. Someone created the universe for something, there are certain rules, to which obey absolutely everything. The rules under which the moon orbits around our planet, and our planet together with the Moon – around the Sun, and they are not exposed, because everywhere there is a certain order.

The same law applies to humanity, there are certain universal principles. In fact, they are written in every religion. For example, Christ has formulated them in one single sentence: treat others as you would like others treat you. Of course, you can complicate things, but the essence is simple – this one sentence.

There is long hard way to go and a short, easy. If you do in long way, it will involve suffering. This requires unsuccessfully to marry, to lose someone very close, and to lose something very important. This requires a lifetime to make mistakes through which you develop the mind and be able to answer all of questions. This is not one only life’s long way to go. Eastern sacred writings say that this path takes one to three million years. It is a long chain of incarnations, made up of sufferings and joys, which ultimately leads to God.

But there is a short road: treat others as you would like them to treat you. This is to serve to humanity in all its forms. If you do not understand what it means to serve, I will say otherwise – need to be useful to people. At least initially to take responsibility for our thoughts, words, actions, feelings.

    • This is precisely what the Golden Rule states, 'Do unto others what you want others do unto you'.

We should apply this in our way of life, at all times.

      Thanks for reminding us!

    • Life is not meant to be easy. It is a journey that will involve obstacles. How we handle those obstacles and the persons who create those obstacles is what determines whether we are victorious at the end of the journey or not.
