Health

Hello!

Hi there! Some of you probably know me from over at MyLot. I decided to come over here as well and check things out. I tend to write a lot about mental health as its part of my every day life. I was diagnosed 6 years ago with bipolar disorder and PTSD, recently I was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder as well. The bipolar disorder is likely hereditary – the rest is from severe childhood abuse. Those issues have led me to not be able to work a ‘real’ job and need some pretty extensive psychiatric treatment

Now I work as I volunteer at a Consumer Operate Support Program, where people with mental illness get support from groups run by other mental health consumers. I run an art program there and help out in general with stuff. It gives me something to do and keeps me out of the house. I’ve also met my two best friends there – friends were something I was greatly lacking for quite a few years since I had to quite my good full time job.

I used to be a high school teacher for students with emotional disturbances, but the pressure got to be too much and I had a breakdown. I had the school district social worker constantly trying to tell me how to run my classroom, principals who didn’t understand special needs kids, and fellow teachers who were unsupportive I just couldn’t take it anymore. I left in the middle of the year and really only went back for a few weeks at the start of the next school year. I miss working with kids, but I just can’t handle it anymore. I found that out after nannying for a few different families. The only one I work for anymore is babysitting two autistic kids for a family I’ve known for 3 years.

I currently live with my mom while my fiance works in another state. It works out well since my dad died a year and a half ago. We have two dogs, a hamster, and 3 rats. Yep – lots of animals. So that is about it as far as things about me. If you want to know any more just ask.

    • Hi I am glad to see you here. I have not join Mylot but heard lot of reviews.

Thanks for your self introduction. I didn't know bipolar is hereditary.
It is not a common case here so I don't really understand what the disease is all about.

I see that you are not married, but attached. That is good. Staying with mum and many pets around, you have a lot of companies !

    • Your story is pathetic but you are very courageous fighting with time cruel waves. You got a bipolar disease but in spite of it you worked hard to meet life necessities of daily life.

Every woman should be like you a brave and fighter and having by birth indomitable courage and will never conquerable in any phase of life. You did not get marriage why? you should get marriage anon God will help you in practical life.

I think Bipolar disorder, also known as manic-depressive illness, is a brain disorder that causes unusual shifts in mood, energy, activity levels, and the ability to carry out day-to-day tasks. There are four basic types of bipolar disorder; all of them involve clear changes in mood, energy, and activity levels.

I can tell you its treatment if you like because I am a medical astrologer and prescribe med looking at the birth chart that will heal you soon. I am sure. If you agree contact me or send me reply. My friend. Take care.
