The world is facing serious intolerance problem

It may sound weird but the fact that 19 people were killed and many more seriously injured by Satoshi Uematsu, a young  person of 26 who worked in the same establishment of disabled persons near Tokyo until a this February. The number of dead rose as most of the persons suffering serious injuries by fatal stabbing.

You would hardly believe the reason of such heinous stabbing as the man who carried out this stabbing spree had this sick idea in his mind that the world should not have the existence of disabled persons and by killing them he wanted to free the world from all disabled persons.

Obviously, the person in this story considered himself to be one that belonged to “Normal” category and has the belief that only the normal ones have the right to live in this world. There is no doubt about the fact that there is a section of people in each and every society that has their own values for “Normalcy”, the condition of being normal for them is the state of being  typically as per their own expected lines.

Maybe the present way of thinking of a particular section of the society now engaged in mass killing in different parts of the world is thinking on same lines. Maybe they think that they are the normal people and rest of the people who do not think like them or subscribe to their thoughts or do not belong to their religion or do not act as per their prescribed ways have no right to live.

 It is a dangerous situation which should be tackled with an immediate effect. The world has other serious problems to tackle with right now so one more will complicate the situation even more. The world is going through serious problems as far as society is concerned and becoming lesser tolerant.
