Hello Everyone!
Water is indeed an important life supporter. But, since it is renewable resource and almost freely available, we humans have a tendency – whatever is freely available is neither to be respected nor to be taken seriously.
So, we do not pay respect to water and try our best to pollute it to the max. While it is proven that 67% of Earth is filled of water, it should be noted that 96% of water as available on Earth is unusable. Unfortunately, water which is fit for use is depleting fast and this is adding to nature’s worries. Due to invalid disturbances in natural cycles, we are expressing sudden drought and flood somewhere.
At some places, water does not exist and in some other places, water is everywhere. In both the cases, it is life which suffers. There are many causes behind this, some blame human intervention with nature while some held water – politics responsible for this. Everyone is silent when it comes to finding a solution to the problem.
Today, the concept of rainwater harvesting is growing fast and gaining much attention. It literally is a process of saving water from rain. On the ground, you will find holes dug and an attempt to store water. But, the problem here is that this measure solely depends on rain. Till it rains, this measure does not work.
Ideally, there is only 1 solution. Just ensure that there is always water inside the ground every time. Systems need to be worked so that water does not stay outside and rather, it is inside. This way, both flood and drought will be avoided. Trees are the best facilitators of this. Therefore, plantation of trees is recommended.
Just ensure that the tree you are planting matches with the environment it deserves. Not all trees grow in all environments. For example, Eucalyptus grows in hilly areas. If you selected wrong environment, this trick fails to deliver. In all other cases, it is the only working way.
Let us pledge not to exploit natural resources and have a healthy environment as well. What do you think about this tactic?

More than conserving if only water was saved and not wasted there would be enough to cover the needs of the whole world. We have a well that is a constant source of water but we do not waste water be it while washing the dishes, while scrubbing our teeth, while having a bath and even watering the garden. In our house every drop counts.
