Ubuntu Desktop is Changed with New Gnome Theme

As you know Ubuntu has decided to ditch the unity. And the efforts taken by the unity community are gone. I think this is one reason many people want to continue using the gnome for now. And they are working harder on the login screen and other projects. For now there does not seem to be any changes like change in shell. But most of the things are kept common. That includes the color of the theme. Also the fonts are improved. And you may find that there are going to be more changes and that is going to help ubuntu to reestablish it’s own desktop in short time. But for now the innovation and the hard work is now gone. You don’t find that anymore with the ubuntu gnome. So anything that gnome tries will be added and improved. No other addition will be done by the ubuntu desktop.

One more interesting thing is that you may find that the merging of ubuntu gnome and default ubuntu flavor. Now that gnome is part of it. They may add more developers and community for the same. For now this seems to be the change that is happening around. And soon they may add few more things along the way. You can also download and install the Mocka icon set. But I suggest waiting till next may and that’s pretty much the innovation that may happen. Use the unity while it lasts. After that it’s going to be unity desktops end for sure. Also you may find that they are going to pull few more products out of the way.

I for one looking forward to how this new change with the ubuntu takes place. I want to see how many of the small design improvement gets added. It would be nice to see how the ubuntu takes place with new gnome changes. That would be worth checking out.
