LESSON 1 ON MICROSOFT WORD
Microsoft Word is an application package developed by Microsoft Incorporation to help users create, edit and format letter, design simple logos using its sophisticated illustration tools, send mails using mail merge.
Ms Word is designed with look and feel GUI which enables users to typeset letters, and create designs with ease. It also contain some sophisticated features such as template, clip-art, charts, watermarks, shapes, stars and banners, etc. that one can use to develop simple designs. It is expedient that every beginner in the computing world should at least be conversant with Microsoft Word. Its importance cannot be over emphasized due to its numerous benefits and contribution to ease human from using the usual conventional typing machine (type-writer) that is highly prone to errors and have no room for correction without littering the paper.
