No matter what the day would be today, we can choose to be happier. Every morning we can get up and give up for a black thoughts and negativism, or we can choose a life in which would be much more optimism and good energy. Everything depends only on our own, on our own approach to the problems.
If we had a difficult day, week, month or even a year, we can find ourselves in the negativity spiral – we feel sad and angry, because of this is changing our approach until finally everything looking through black glasses, that our negativity we pass on others, and they slowly give it back to us. This is how we are spinning in the eternal spiral of negativity.
There are some tips that will help to prevent potential negative thoughts, to handle them and learn to look at life a lot more positive.
Stop complaining. If we are constantly complaining about how bad and wrong life is for us, it will surely be such. Neither the complaints, or wail, or self-pity will not create a joyful, satisfying life, bringing happiness. So the first thing we should do – stop complaining. Even if we still do not have all the necessary tools that would improve our quality of life, at least we have a tool that will prevent the further deterioration of quality.
Learn to stop negative thoughts. To be able to take positive thinking, first of all we should close all doors for the negative thoughts. Remember that thoughts are accompanied by energy and only on your ability to control these thoughts depends if the energy will be positive or negative. In order to learn how to control our thoughts, it is very important to monitor ourselves and be able to distinguish when your thoughts are based on the facts, and when – just grievances, self-pity, self-doubt or a negative point of view. Just after getting such thought, we must immediately stop it until these thoughts had not poisoned our consciousness.
Get rid of the “Yes, but …” approach. “Yes, but …” – this is a classic expression of a man who looks at life negatively, in other words, any good thing for him has bad counterweight. When asked if he likes his job, he will say that yes, but the job is not very well paid. There are ups and downs in each person’s life, but focusing solely on the bad side of life, we will lose more and more opportunities to observe the good.
Do not be afraid to take a risk. Some people simply feel much more comfortable and better, assuming the role of the victim and keep telling about their disasters, nut not even trying to explore why they found themselves in this role. The self-analysis, the looking deeper into our psychology can reveal that we ourselves are the authors of our unsuccessful life. This requires deliberate, targeted and not judging tone observe how and why we look at ourselves as a victim. It is appropriate to look at ourselves from the side, neutral – and we will be surprised how many of our life spheres we really can control.
Replace negative thoughts with positive. The negative, not helping thoughts we must change to the positive, full of confidence thoughts and we will automatically feel much better. If we pessimistic think we will not achieve what we want in life, we better convince ourselves that our life can be as we want and what we will create for ourselves.
Take positive action. Often it’s not enough only to change the way of thinking about ourselves and certain situations, sometimes we need to behave differently. So if we ever complained that still do not have beloved, the other step to do – to get out to the city and to provide an opportunity for ourselves to find such a person.
Remember, we can look through the black glasses to our life and see in it only what happened wrong and be unhappy, or we can look at life realistically and realize that there can be the good and the bad. And only on our chosen approach it depends how we will cope with all that.

All the points which need to be covered to of how to look at life positively have been dealt with clearly. While one will what their good, bad and ugly days. It is upto us as mentioned in the article as to how we make the best out of the given situation. Instead of brooding and bawling about the problems which are nothing but challenges life is throwing at us.
If we take each day as it comes and do our best to see that we make that day the most colorful day of our life. Problems or challenges will get divided into small cubicles and it will be a step by step progress and assessment of the situation which we will be having and that would be easy to handle than thinking about the next one year, five years or say 10 years. The more we think in the long term we will complicate our life more. It is better we think long term and act and assess short term on a daily basis. A well researched article.
As we age, we become contented and accept life as it comes; we become mellow unlike in our youths when we question everything; complain about anything and were so restless. Life can be more enjoyable if we follow the points you raised here.
A new day is always a big day. I forget all the bad things happened from yesterday. I think this is the positive way to move forward. The negativity from the past can be left behind and look forward to positivity in the future.It is definitely not healthy to dwell on the certain problem. We can still leave behind first and get back when you find possible solutions for it.
There is no perfect world. Humans are not gifted without difficulties in life. I bow my head to a person who will claim that they never encountered problems. God usually gives challenges or trials to face them and find a solution for it. It is not like having a silver spoon. I pity those people who are totally dependent on other people. It is not supposed to be this way.
If you are looking for someone that complains, that's me. I was once a major pessimist, but I now have a different attitude to life. I always see the bad side before I even see the good side. I have learnt to look at life from a different perspective. I now appreciate life more and thank God more. Being content is key. This is a nice post. You have covered almost all the points to be positive. But again it depends on the person whether to implement these tips.
As I can say, the people who does not think positive they will consider these tips as something bookish or tough to implement. Or they will tell, it is easy to advice but tough to implement.
The urge of being positive should come from someone's own mind. Then every piece of advice will be important for them. May be they don't need any advice then as they can use their wisdom to be positive.
