Some years ago I was in a fancy restaurant with friends of mine. At another table came one of those pretentious females. She was a bit overdressed, a bit loud, and somewhat amusing.
In an unnecessarily loud voice she ordered ‘Escargots Provencale”.
In a short time the dish arrived and the woman shouted: “Snails! These are Snails!”
Well, yeah. That is what Escargot is… snails.
It became immediately clear that the woman had no idea what she had ordered. Hearing that Escargot was a fancy dish, being in a Fancy Restaurant, pretending she was fancy, she ordered. Maybe expecting rice and peas or a slab of dead meat.
It became hysterically funny for us to hear her protests and anger, and see the manager trying to understand what was going on.
She ordered snails. She got snails. What is the issue?
A few days ago, Donald Trump set about tossing about 30 Million Americans off health care. He said he would do it. He did it.
Donald Trump said he would build a wall between the United States and Mexico, and the only argument is that Mexico says it won’t pay for it. But Trump is stamping his big foot, shouting that there will be a wall.
Today Trump has slammed the door on refugees from Syrian and other places in the Middle East, causing all sorts of confusion.
But Trump said he would do it.
Donald Trump said what he would do. Just like the restaurant which advertised escargot provencale. He has made it clear he is anti-Islam, anti-Arab nations, anti-non-white, anti-women, anti-Mexican, and a host of other hatreds and prejudices.
He, like that plate of snails is self explanatory.
Those in America who are shocked by his actions look as silly as the woman in the restaurant.
Americans voted for Trump, they want Trump, and when the police come into areas and round up people and take them to camps before deportation, when he cancels VISAs and Work Permits, and air craft have to be added to take people out of the United States, anyone who expresses surprise can join that woman who got what she ordered.

The previous Presidents of the U.S were posing themselves as true Americans and remained as such the completion of their term of office. They remained, enjoyed, and did not and said nothing for the U.S.
Mr. Trump on the contrary and beyond the expectations of his own non-supporters in the Elections has bent upon keeping and giving a shape to the promises he addressed and made during the Election campaign.
The construction of Wall along the Mexican border has been the centerpiece of his promises made in the Campaign. He wanted to fulfill it after becoming the President. There is no surprise in it. It happens rarely. It appears as a great surprise because no previous Presidents tried to pay attention to the promises made in the election campaign.
How one can criticize Mr. Donald if he says and declares his country is for safety and welfare of Christians and takes steps to this effect.
He is not a lady ordering something in the restaurant which she does not know and protest latter.
He is not, his supporters, and many Americans show 'shock' at it. Why? He said so. The fact is, I don't think a lot of Americans really expected it. If you read American news...
