Yes. Countdown to destruction of earth has been started. The signs all over the world is clearly indicating the earth is nearing destruction if we all do nothing about it. We just witness the hottest year in the history of the world in 2016. Rainy season was patchy, winter season was hot and summer was pricking. It show how once consistent weather has become so erratic to the global warming. In Australia we see how heatwaves are hurting people as well as environment by causing trees to catch wildfire. In USA, we are seeing how hurricanes has become a norm. Hurricanes used to come once in a decade, but these days USA is facing that storm very often. Earthquakes seems to be no more a once in decades phenomen as it is occuring like how a rainy season comes in every year. The alarming increase in natural disasters show how, day by day we are getting vulnerable. The reason is simple. It is we. It is we who have polluted the environment in cutting the trees, using too much electricity, and usage of cars for every single small activity. In the pursuit of finding comfort of oneself, we have been so selfish in not caring about the earth which is pleading for help. One thing is for sure, unless we get down and stop pollution and plant trees, nothing is going to happen. No country head can control the pollution by signing an agreement in UN. It is we who have destroyed the environment and responsibility lies with us to rectify the mistake. We still have some time, if the citizens of each country join hands and lead environmental-friendly life then we are bound to make a huge difference to the whole situation the earth is facing. If we really don’t wake up now then the day will not be far when we will paying to get fresh whiff of air as all our surroundings will get polluted. We should understand that pollution is not only harming the earth, but it is also equally taking a toll on our health. If we need an example, then we can take and China and Delhi where smog is in danger levels.
