Worst enemy is one who knows you

The worst enemy is the one you don’t know to have. I tell you a story about my best friend, a boy who fell in love with one of my high school besties. Well, I had no idea about it, and I set her date my own cousin, who was like all perfect in my eyes. But, that love he had for this girl was not serious, I think so, and not very healthy. He didn’t stalk her or anything like that, but he became really nasty and bitter to me. Because I am one to blame for his misfortune. Of course, my cousin charmed a that girl, and because he was all that my best friend was not – it made that hate even worse.
Don’t be surprised for me having best friend a boy – I was raised in all men family and most of my cousins are all boys. We almost have no female children. Maybe it is peculiar to others, but for me, it was like a good morning. I usually got lots of bashing from my brothers, but it was when we were kids.
My ex-best-newly acquired enemy, who also knew all my secrets and weaknesses, became a real nasty nightmare.
He stopped on nothing.
I remember one day we were on the bus and I went to talk across to my girls, leaving him with my bag. We usually had this nasty custom to toss bags, so he was guarding mine against vandals.
When I arrived into the classroom I had no homework, that was some very important thing and this teacher was more than uncomfortable.
I was not into school, but I promised my parents that I will do it in the proper way so that they don’t have any surprises.
So when I was incapable getting my homework I started tossing books on the table and yelling unwritten atrocities, that teacher had her moment and made a school principal call my parents.
My parents are sweet and nice, but I could clearly hear my father saying if she has no clue where from the vocabulary was passed he insist she speaks with my mother…
I was sent home…
I have locked by somebody in the school toilets week after. Of course, that school class was set to ‘missing’ no matter what I said. I had my final exam on that class with that dragon teacher and I failed. My ID card was stolen just some time before we had that major trip with school abroad. I was set home because of it. I still didn’t get over it.
Of course he went , and send me a lots of pictures so I can drain my eyes above them.
Later I found out that the same guy ( much later, he hid it so well), speaks against me and spread lies and disinformation.
Most of the misery I have during next years was due to this ‘creature’.
I can’t understand how people can hate so much. Is it really worth of this trouble?

    Your Seldom

    • The one who knows you are your enemy, and that's true. Why? because they know every detailed about you. They know your secret, they know your strength and the worst thing is they even know your weakness. They even exactly know when or know how to attack you. Enemies are like snakes, they get closer and closer to you until they set their right timing. And there he goes.... backstabbed you.

    • That's the reason why I choose people to befriended with. If I have a friend or friends, I don't say things more that they should know. Because there is a possibility that these people will betray me. I would rather go and vent out to my family more. I am saying this because I had been in this kind of situation.

    • Definitely the one who knows you can become your worst enemy. I went through this with my ex. Never in a million years would I thought he would turn on me and use my personal information against me. Left me completely heartbroken and betrayed

    • I've always felt your worst enemies were the ones who know you, they have more info to hang over your head. They could ruin your life if they wanted to. It always seems to be family that gets over on you more. It's like they feel just cause your family that they can get away with more. Be careful with what you let others know, family or not.

    • Apparently it is true that the person you call friend of the person you think is close to you is your worst enemy how I do ironical. Just like we can say about the tongue it can curse and bless, then we can also say that spite is the most toxic thing in your body. That's what scientists say that you saliva can kill or heal you. So it's quite unfortunate that out friends are out worst enemies. Someone would pretend to be your friend just to betray you in the most unexpected way. So even when we make friends we need to be very careful when we get close to them. There are things that we can share with them and there are those things we just need to keep to ourselves for our own good sake.

    • Truly, you're bestfriend is your best foe. I also have this kind of friend in my childhood. We were very close then and have so much something in common like our favorite childhood anime that were going crazy about in our younger years. What i noticed to her is that she always flaunt the things she have and everything she does just to get attention even her so called rich friend in school that they were hanging around and have good time most of the time something like that just to brag. She's not even pretty at all but when you look at her she has this over powering confidence in herself like as if she was a big catch but unfortunately she has more thights than brain. In my early teens ive always wondering why she was playing cupid and looking for someone to hook me up for unknown reason not even noticing her real motive to destroy me in the eyes of people without knowing it ill be surprise then when someone will told me about the things she said spreading nasty humors against me. Then, i came to realize how hypocrite she was. You see, you will know a person in her true colors if you're going to keep an eye on her and all the unlawful thing she was doing behind my back. Snakes are every where. You should be watchful on the people you're dealing with for some will not be a friend on you but your worst enemy that will bit you on your back if you lose your guard. In this world which full of strangers, never trust anyone. Don't ever share your secret with anybody. Keep it with yourself. THATS THE RULE. For many will trying to put you down and degrade yourself respect.
