Words power – talk only positive.

Words have a tremendous influence on our thoughts, self-esteem, and even on our well-being. So, if at least some of the attention that is given to the appearance, career or home chores we would assigned  four our vocabulary, we would soon feel  much happier.

We are all faced with the phenomenon when experiencing a strong emotion, such as sadness, we strengthened by listening to melancholic songs, crying watching a hundred time the “Pearl Harbor” or reading a mournful poem. Then it seems that the survived emotion is so powerful that covers the whole world, and there is no room for any other feeling. Paradoxically, but we also think so when feel excited, fearful or angry.

But there also occurs the reverse phenomenon of the emotions caused by external stimuli. Melody can excite with its subtle sound, the film can cause severe sense of identifying ourselves, but what, excluding everything else, can do the word? The simplest word – spoken, written, expressed in the mind? Today, scientists collect more and more evidence that our used vocabulary has a direct impact not only on beliefs, worldview and self-perception, but even on the physical body. So what is the power of the word and what we can do to make it first of all the positive?

It is said that everything in life starts with the words. It may be anger or love, sympathy or indifference – the whole scale of feelings lies in the words. Words power is very big.

At school we were taught grammar rules, taught combining the words by gender or number. We were taught not to miss letters when writing, pronounce correctly, use accent beautifully. But probably no one taught what can the word. No one talked about how to use the word, how to behave, that words would not become abusive or contemptuous tool.

Do we choose words carefully, trying to express our thoughts? Do we think of how they affect those around us – help, inspire, make a good mood, or vice versa, hurt, provoke and downgrade.

It is important not only words, but also the intonation, how we pronounce. The simplest example: if in the morning a colleague with entusiastic voice enthusiastically greets us – immediately we find ourselves able to work, we take over the person’s good energy. Meanwhile, tired voice can instantly ruin the mood.

The word is not only the thoughts and information, but also the energy that you send to another person or receive. That is why it is very important to make the choice of words. We do not want other people’ words offend us or spoil the mood, so we have to build a good energy by our own words also.

What words to use depends only on you. After all, you want to be successful and happy, is it not? Therefore, you have to say only good things. If you complain to your colleagues that you will fail, it will eventually happen.

Our thinking becomes a reality. In other words, the spiritual and physical elements interact. Therefore, if you want to be successful and happy, say to yourself that you sure can and finally will succeed. Even if today it is very difficult, you have to convince yourself that tomorrow will be better. It is important to say the words that mean something good.

    • Words are powerful, painful, awful, and amazing tools. They can hurt, help, hinder, and heal. You know this already. You have felt it. Sometimes, it was subtle, but you knew it was there. The potency of words. It’s immeasurable and unmistakeable.

If you listen to your life you can recall moments when you felt the brutal sting of words:

When the other kids called you “fat.”
When that boy dumped you for no reason.
When your dad called you “stupid.”
When you received that letter of rejection.
When your boss told you that you were fired.
When someone told you that cancer is “God’s will.”
When your wife asked when you were going to get a real job.
You personally know the impact words can have.
