What is Doppelganger and why I am scared about it?

Do you know something about Doppelganger? Doppelganger is a German word for a double. It is a living person that looks like you and on the other side, it is establish as a paranormal phenomena. In this world, there are estimated 7 person that looks the same and they are living in different parts of the world. Have you met your double?

Twins are not counted on this area because it is something about the genes. Those that are counted are those that are never related. Perfect examples are those celebrities that look the same and for sure you know this type.

On the other hand, I will share to you Doppelganger on the paranormal area as my family experienced it before. This doppelganger are not the type that appear in friendly manner. It gives me fear whenever it happens and I don’t want to happen it again. If you believe in ghosts or spirits, this doppelganger I will share resembles that.

One night, when I went home, I saw my mother was talking to someone outside our comfort room. I thought one of my sibling was inside that is why she kept on talking. I was putting my bag on a table when I heard my name. I went near her. She kept on talking. I was about to laugh when I realized she was seriously talking to someone. I tapped her on her shoulder because I want her to look at me. Her eyes went big when she found out that I was behind her. I asked her why she was talking to someone and she said she asked me if I just arrived. I nodded. She shoved me away from the comfort room and closed the door. I felt she was nervous. She told me in a whisper that she saw me already arrived and went to the comfort room. She was asking me if I want to eat immediately so that she can prepare the foods in the table only to find out that I just arrived. If that is the case, then who is the person inside the comfort room. I remember we were not using the comfort room for a day, until someone used it on the next day because we were both scared.

Another story was when I and my older sister were left at home. There were times that our parents will arrive late in the evening and we were left there for whole day. We can managed anyway. We were ready to watch a movie in the living room. I was there sitting waiting for my sister to bring the food. I saw my sister sit beside me but she was looking straight at the television. I asked her where is the food and she was not looking at me, nor answering me. I asked her a lot of times but she was not moving a bit. I decided to get the food in the kitchen only to find out that she was there preparing our snack. I was really scared. My legs became weak and was trembling. I don’t want to look at our living room because I was too scared to see if her double is still there. I managed to say to her what I was troubling about so she check it the living room and she saw no one was there. I cannot stop thinking about it. It is still fresh on my mind.

Doppelganger is an apparition of a person that is living. I wonder why is this happen? Does the soul of the living person get out of their body and do things normally as the person did? This one is considered a myth even at present time. Unfortunately, there are lots of stories about Doppelganger in the internet and for sure if you find time to check on those, you will be worrying how it happens too. There are lots of movies and novels that tackles about Doppelganger. They even regards as demonic and sinister. Some says that be sure not to look eye to eye with your double if you happen to meet him or her because only one will stay in this world, it is either you or your double, but for sure it hasn’t happen to anyone even if it happens to a lot of people already.

On Psychiatry, seeing a double of a person has something to do with Hallucination. The medical term is Heautoscopy. However, with our experience, I have a double, but I haven’t seen my double. My sister has a double, but she had not seen it either. The person who has its double haven’t seen their double. It is the other person who happened to see it. I guess it will be really frightening to see your double anyway? What makes it mysterious is that, the double that we will see were either passing by or not looking or talking to people. I guess it is better that way because it will really kills me if they will go friendly.
