Have you ever done something worth mentioning? Something that made you feel good about yourself? Well, I believe doing something good for others is very important and remarkable. Even if it is as small as helping an old lady cross the road (excuse the cliché), it could bring a smile on the face of the person you help and make you feel ten feet tall. I still remember this one line from “Evan Almighty” Morgan Freeman defines “ARK” as one” Act of Random Kindness”. It really made so much sense. I have come across many people riding their motorbikes with their side stand down which can be dangerous while riding. Many people notice the same but think it is too small for them to include themselves in and inform the person riding so that he faces no danger. I make sure to shout out “side stand” to make sure that they are riding safely.
Another thing I do is give elderly people a place in any public transport if I have a seat. Here where I live, we have &”autos”; which is like a cab but with three tires and is extremely fast and a very cheap mode of transport. And the auto drivers tend to take more passengers and it leaves people hanging on beside the driver, which is sometimes dangerous too but people still do it here. So, if I have a seat, I always get off and offer my seat to the older person and sit beside the driver.
