This can very well be seen in the current technologies that are being used in the course of treatment and the quick results that were not present before.
When the cataract surgery is carried out, the doctors take out the natural lens and put in an intraocular lens in that place. These intraocular lenses or IOL as they are generally called in the field of medicine are of two types that is, basic and lifestyle.
• Basic intraocular lens are the non-natural lens. It comes with fixed focal length. It means the patient have to use glasses even after the surgical procedure. These mono-focal lenses would set right your blurred vision. At the same time, you will have to wear spectacles for near vision.
• Lifestyle intraocular lens are the smart lenses. It adjusts the focal length as per the requirement of the individuals. Usually, these lenses are not covered under the medical insurance schemes. Still a lot of people go for them. It is because of the convenience people get after the surgery. These lifestyle lenses are good for farsightedness as well as nearsightedness.
At present, cataract surgery is not a costly or time consuming issue. For people suffering from blurred vision, it is suggested that they get in touch with a good eye specialist and get their blurry and cloudy vision corrected with modern technology.
