There’s a lot of Great Gatsby’s

“The Great Gatsby” starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Interesting character very cleaver and mysterious at times. Gatsby started out wanting to venture off into the world of course not living in reality. Perhaps his own reality but a very risky way to live. Worked for a rich man and observed just want to do in order to live a lavish lifestyle. Gatsby was con man but a romantic con man. Lived a very lavish lifestyle never seemed to want to be alone always having parties and the need to be entertained.

Gatsby got away with a lot by using his charm. Could talk his way out of any situation. Using distraction tactics and a childish laugh. Gatsby “had a very loyal friend” who was the cousin of the woman Gatsby was madly in love with. Her husband was a bit if stern man but perhaps she felt secure with her husband but was in love with Gatsby. So the cousin would cover for both Gatsby and his lover. Both would meet up chat and spend time talking and loving one another.

Gatsby would try to watch his lover from across the way. Wanting to keep eyes on her and really desired to be with her but for some reason she was hanging on to a marriage in which she felt “incomplete.” Gatsby would get lonely and carried on with his partying and gambling. Although he had the money and it appeared as if he had friends but were they? Perhaps partying friends. Gatsby was addicted to taking risks and pretending to be professionals.

At one point Gatsby pretended a pilot. Deep down his father knew Gatsby was full of tricks. He purchased a car for his father. Always felt the need to make his father proud. Stemmed from childhood. Gatsby would run away often wanting to live his own life. Ran away at a young age in pursuit of better living. Not legally but his charm “was able to produce wealth.” Gatsby even fooled the FBI by using his charm and distracting the agent. As the agent turned away. Gatsby ran out the door down stairs and hopped in a car and disappeared.

The agent just had a smurk on his face. Amused by Gatsby’s quick thinking and charming ways. Still the agency would search for Gatsby but Gatsby continued on with his pretending. One point Gatsby became a doctor. Duplicating money and making his rounds. Meeting up with his father and eating at expensive restaurants. Gatsby had a car accident and did not turn himself in of course. The father of the woman who was hit was furious.

Gatsby got away with such a tragic event but how long? Gatsby continued with his lavish lifestyle. It appeared as if Gatsby knew his time was running out. Gatsby became nervous. So he wanted to see his lover again and placed a call. She was getting ready to set off on a long vacation with her husband and child. Gatsby was anxious and let phone ring and ring. Gatsby took a swim. The size pool was enormous. The phone rang and it was his lover. The cousin was trying to reach Gatsby but was so far out.

Before he can get to Gatsby. The father of the woman who was killed in the accident. Was still filled with rage and came to take revenge. Pulled out the gun and shot Gatsby. Gatsby started floating to the bottom of the pool. His lover was unable to reach him. The law never did get their chance to arrest Gatsby. His wit, “charm,” and riskiness would lead to his demise. Gatsby wanted to live a rich life but was Gatsby happy? Probably not without the love of his life.

Leonardo DiCaprio is a Brilliant actor. A lot of starring roles. Always produces.
