Stand Firm Through Adversity

There’s always some sort of challenge. We can not go through life without problems. Some will experience more than others. Adversity is a given. Sometimes it’s like standing on the front lines of war. We must understand that there’s nothing that’s faced in life that is too much to bare. Sometimes those near to us will throw some adversity our way and although their actions can be difficult to understand we’ll still get through the adversity.

When People Challenge us

When we’re being challenged by others we may want to tear our hair out. There’s many different reasons why some decide to throw challenges our way. One of the reasons could have to do with envy. Envy is dangerous. When others recognize our gifts. They can become angry. Don’t despair when others decide to turn their backs. Their actions are a sign of “prosperity.” When others see that some are elevating then may start to feel bad about themselves and will spill their feelings onto anyone who they feel are moving up. The adversity that’s dished out can help in so many ways. Although their intent may not be to assist in anyway. Not everything will happen quickly and it really doesn’t matter the time it takes to rise up. Just know that the journey won’t always be a smooth one but when the journey is complete. It will all be worth the pain.

So many people give up when they’re challenged. They may preceive the fight being too long and difficult. In tbeir minds, they’ll believe that stopping is the only way, complexities aren’t a reason to give up. In fact those challenges should mold us so that we’re able to be “successful” on our other assignments. Having a defeated attitude won’t work. One should stand firm and believe in victory. Be “victorious.” Of course it’s difficult facing adversity. Especially when it seems as though there’s no support around. Our strength comes from our faith, believing in ourselves, remaining hopeful. All of those things will help us grow and make our way to different levels in life. It doesn’t matter how tough it gets. We must remain whole and keep fourth.

There will be those individuals who are so determined to create a plan of failure. Their plans can’t work if we’re “determined” to succeed. Allowing our minds and bodies to be at peace will help us get to the destination. No amount of pain is too great to bare. Pain and heartache is away to cleanse us for better. All of those trials are created to build bettet people. Prosperity awaits but we must be willing to walk through the pain.

Life can be unpredictable but even when we’re caught off guard. We can soar. Climbing to the top isn’t easy. Anyone who says that reaching the top of the hill is easy, is fibbing, not easy at all. Just knowing how difficult it can be could detour a lot of people. For those who have confidence and continued faith. They’ll make it through. The journey will require lots and lots of faith.

    • People may not take this very well but adversities make us stronger. They may seem like they come to destroy us and make us weaker but the truth is, They make us stronger. Picture this if everything we did was perfect and there was no one to challenge us and tell us that whatever you just did was not good enough would we be willing to go the extra mile and do something much better than what we have? I don't think so most of us would rather just sit back and enjoy the little that has been appreciated when we could get something bigger. That will make us settle in our comfort zones and that is not where God wants us to be. So when we are faced with adversities we should be thankful because they not only come to make our lives difficult but the same up the sleepy self in us to do much better. We should be thankful for that because it builds our self esteem and confidence.

    • Adversity is the part and parcel of human life it means that we are green no experience in the field.For each of us, unexpected, challenging situations, issues and problems are par for the course, and probably occur on the average of 25 times every day. They run the gamut from minor to major, i.e.,

      you have an argument with your co-worker, teenager or partner; you don’t receive an important return e-mail from a customer; one of your key people arrives late on a very busy day; your speech doesn’t receive the reaction you hoped for; you’re not selected for an assignment you really wanted, the list goes on….

      Knowing that you have the skills it takes to deal with both your personal and interpersonal problems is a key factor in deciding to see them as opportunities and deal with them constructively. When you can self-disclose honestly and clearly;

      when you can listen to others and to yourself with acceptance and empathy; when you can face your fears; when you can resolve conflicts so both people get their needs met; when you can set and achieve goals that really matter to you; you have many of the key tools needed to turn adversity into opportunities for learning and growth. That can be liberating and exhilarating.
