Old age does not wait for any one. And with old age come various complications followed by several restrictions on what to eat, how to eat and what not to eat.
The first casualty is the degradation of joints which is the result of collapse of ligaments that hold them together. This process starts with age due to the reduction of a substance called Collagen in the ligaments. The joint bones brush against each other resulting in excruciating pain. Weakness sets in and walking becomes a nightmare. This results in drastic change in one’s lifestyle.
There are Collagen supplements with little or no results. We see around us seniors with artificial knee caps and artificial hips. This would not have been necessary if those supplements worked.
There is hope for a natural supplement which is available in chicken feet, which is rich in collagen.
Chicken feet are normally discarded and are not eaten. Research has it that they are precious to those who want their collagent brought back to them.
Here is a chicken feet recipe which should deliver.
Clean the feet scraping all that is considered to be thrown away including nails. Wash the feet thoroughly and pressure cook them in enough water. Drain out the soup and feed the chicken feet to your pets which they may also require for their bones to strengthen.
Chop some tomatoes and cook the soup till tomatoes are done drain out the tomato segments, add pepper and salt. Garnish with onions fried in ghee or butter.
Those who have no issue with the chicken feet they could also be cooked just like any other meat dish.
One should not wait till old age to start taking care of their joints. As they say prevention is better than cure. Taking this soup on a regular basis is guarantee that the joints will be taken care of

@bestwriter, this is a very nice post, very informative and based on facts.I will tell my siblings to prefer eating chicken feet to have stronger bone ligaments. I will also try to eat ,but what about those high blood people? Will they be not affected considering this meat as bad for hyper? Also, I have made a research that chicken can also cause arthritis. I am so confused about the many issues about how to be always healthy.
This is indeed very informative, I have never been a fun of taking soup but many are the times people have told me and made me take soup and I do take but not always. Now you have just educated me on something new and I will use this recipe for my mum she is aging and the arthritis sometimes gets painful so I will start in cooperating the chicken soup into her diet thank you very much for sharing.
You can read about this ailment and what chicken feet do to patients elsewhere on the net too. I have started some knee pain and that made me go for it.
I like chicken feet dry noodle.
We have many stalls selling that, and it sure is tasty, and cheap.
I rather have it outside than to prepare my own chicken feet soup or noodle.
Soup because some may not like the idea of eating chicken feet. They were never a part of anyone's diet until lately.
I am really inspired with this post and I will definitely do it for my mum who keeps complaining about her shoulders am sure it will make her muscles relax a bit
I have just started from yesterday. I have some discomfort in one of my knees. Hope to see improvement.
