Push Until You Pull

France has embarked on what we call ‘Push until You Pull’.

This is when you pressure and you pressure until whatever it is, explodes.

Take this Burkini thing.

I can go to France and walk naked or virtually naked on their beaches.  But I can’t walk fully dressed.

Think about this.

I am not a Muslim but I don’t show off my body.  I am bordering decrepitude so I don’t even like to look at it much and I am certainly not going to wear a bathing suit.

When I go to the beach I wear a pair of shorts that goes almost to my knee and a top that is one of those longish athletic bras.  Usually under a tee shirt.

And if I went to the beach in France…would I be fined for not exposing my body?

What if I were going scuba diving and had on my wet suit..(which does resemble a Burkini).  So I would be arrested for going scuba diving in France?

I can understand demanding removal of the face veil when taking a licence picture or passport.

I have to take off my head tie when I take a photo for my licence or passport.  I have no problem with that.

When I ride on the road I have to wear my helmet.  The law says I’m supposed to wear a helmet so I have this really cool one.  But you can’t see my face.    I ride up and down.  But I live in Jamaica, so there is no law against it, there is a law for it.

What France is doing is ridiculous.  It is creating bad feelings and says to me, and everyone else, “If you want to come to our beaches you have to expose your body.  You have no right to modesty.”

If they tried this in Jamaica everyone would put on a burkini and go to the beach to show solidarity.

    • Scuba beach is famous for diving all over the world because here diving is more dangerous than place in the world due to deep water and rock debris under water of blue color. People come here for diving with family and friends.

If some has money and time he must go to visit Scuba beach to enjoy its diving I think that Boracay is world famous for its beautiful white-sand beaches and its water activities, particularly scuba diving. Boracay is full of beautiful coral reefs and abundant with fish life; enjoyable to both new and experienced divers.
There are around 30 dive sites around Boracay accessible by a short boat ride. Most of these dive sites are accessible in high season on the west side of the island, this is typically between October and May. During low season; June to September, the east side of the island opens up and still offers some good dive sites like Laguna de Boracay, where a local Sea Turtle is often sighted.

If you have never tried scuba diving before and you would like to give it a try, why not check out our Introduction diving experience or Open Water certification should you want to become a certified diver. For new divers, dive sites like Angol Point, Coral Gardens and Laguna de Boracay offer a great introduction to diving with colourful reef life and stunning coral providing home to parrot fishes, damsel fishes, butterfly fishes and turtles. These dive sites are also favourites of experienced divers who like to find macro life, moray eels and other rare creatures in deeper waters.
