Our Ancestral Home Was Made A Shabu Laboratory By Some Foreigners

What a horrible experience in our family and clan when five policemen went to our house in the city early morning last month. We were so afraid for we did not remember something committed against the law. We let the policemen enter our house in the city. They said that our ancestral home was made a shabu laboratory by some foreigners with the corroboration of our nephew the caretaker of our ancestral home in the province. We employed our very own nephew so he could also have some money for his daily needs. His works include maintaining cleanliness of the inside part of the house and the lawns. Our house in the province has a floor area of 350 square meters, three storey and 8 rooms. We only visit our home in the province during Christmas, Holy Week, Town Fiesta, long holidays and when we have some visitors in the city that like to eat some fresh fruits. Our ancestral home is located at the middle of our 10 hectares coconut farm. This farm was subdivided among us brothers and sisters. We hired farmers to plant bananas, jackfruits, mangoes, guavas and some vegetables like squash and bitter melon. My nephew delivered us some produce in the city. We pay our nephew double every time he goes to the city to deliver our share . We also bought our nephew motorcycle so he could easily reach his destination anywhere he likes, but so sad, our nephew betrayed us.

There is no other person who approves the renting of space of our ancestral home without our knowledge and consent. The drug lords occupied the whole area in the second storey of our home, policemen said. We were investigated if we have involvement of that crime. Of course, NO, we told the policemen. How could we do that when we all have our nice jobs, plus, my father was a retired military official and so strict in terms of drug abuse. The police also told us at home in the city that when they raided our home, all drug lords, pushers were no longer there , but their materials and equipment they used were left. My nephew is detained, and as of this moment no bail was granted to him. We cannot help him for we are angry at our nephew. He cried when we visited him in jail the next days after the police investigated me and my elder sister.

Our neighbor was the one who reported that matter to the police prompting them to raid the area after having been granted a search warrant by the court. Our nephew might be the one who signaled them to escape after sensing many policemen coming to our ancestral home that was made a shabu laboratory. We do not know as to the verdict of our nephew because he was tested positive in illegal drug, plus conspiracy with those foreigners. The druggists paid my nephew 50,000 pesos Philippine money monthly. That was really terrifying for we also clear our names in court. We never knew about the shabu laboratory. We are busy working legally in the city. Good news, through inter police, three of the drug lords/ pushers were caught in Singapore. They were brought to my country and pay the crime committed. It is our Philippine government their enemies and they might rot in jail especially this time, our country on war on drugs.

Because we are all so mad, we decided to lock the gates and doors of our home. We also decided to hire a bulldozer to destroy our property that has a sentimental value. We hope our parents would understand our decision for we are afraid other bad elements might enter our ancestral home illegally. I do not know why there are destroyers of lives. Drug lords/ pushers must be eradicated in the planet so the next generation will have a better life for there will be no more drug addicts that do heinous crimes. We are so happy for we have cleared our names. We never had done immoral and illegal acts in the place where we live.

    • That's so shameful act of those insensitive people.I am sure that the locals are so interested what had happened. It would be a talk of the town. This would be a bad news to the immediate family. They damaged the reputation of the people and demoralized the sacred of the ancestral house.

    • @Shavkat, Very well said my friend, that is why we never pardon our nephew this time.We cannot also save his life and sentence because it is the law his enemy. We had been the talk of town.Though we are not always visiting there, but people already know our background except those new residents in the said town. Who wouldn't be afraid and scared of those police entering our home in the city. Our neighbors also had bad eyes and thinking that we might be wanted in the society. Maybe the drug lords now scatter in far places because of the strong force of the police to chase and capture the culprits. We also learned many take drugs in the place where our ancestral home is situated, too bad drugs destroy lives, still the insane beings take drugs.

    • One staff isn't enough for 10 hectares of coconut tree farm and almost a mansion-a-like ancestral house. You should hire not only for maintenance but also for security to guard and secure the house. I know for sure you're farming already lose a lot of money since your business partners might be scared for they do not want to be involved. Hoping you already solved it.

    • Your nephew has the guts to cry when you visited them on jail! How shameful of him. ANd it is just but understandable that all of your were angry at him.

Imagine getting PhP50,000.00 monthly plus the fruits of all those produce in your big lot, at the expense of your ancestral home.

So, what happens now to that property? Aren't the family considering of selling and having just a big enough vacation house instead.

And it's a good thing that you were all not implicated in that case.

    • @asher ken ,Hi friend? Our property was already subdivided, and this time we fenced our own share at 2 hectares each five siblings.I plan to sell my share for it is near the airport , there is a ready buyer. That buyer wants to construct hotel and restaurant. I have to refer this matter to our layer cousins. Thanks for dropping by.

    • @asher ken, By the way, the image here is not the image of our home. That is credited to Pixabay. Our home is also huge three storey now gone, we hired a bulldozer , no regrets.

    • @Dina, our property was already subdivided yes my nephew has thick face.We pity him and forgive him too, but his enemy is the law, so he must face the verdict. His case is not ordinary crime. His enemies are the people of the Philippines for conspiring foreign drug lords.Gone is our ancestral home, we hired a bulldozer to bulldoze it, no regrets friend. At lest we are at peace this time.
