Every pet owner would want to have their pets in tip top condition but sometimes they are are caught unawares.
When it comes to human beings including children any injuries could be attended to promptly. Children will point out and even cry when they are in pain But pets unfortunately cannot express themselves and tell you that they have injured themselves and there could be hidden wounds that would fester resulting in the wounds having maggots.Maggots appear quite fast the moment a wound gets festered even in a matter of a three or four days sometimes. The rainy season hastens the process as the wound gets wet in the rain. It is only when you see maggots dropped here and there that you panic and check your pet and you get shocks to see the festered wound. any festered wound gives out a foul odour and this the owner sometimes overlooks.
Immediately you take the pet to a Vet who will prescribe countless antibiotics but fail to tell you how to get rid of those maggots.
There is a solution at hand.
Every pet owner must keep negasunt powder in their first aid kit. The powder needs to be sprayed on the wound that is made wet by spraying saline water ( which is available in any Pharmacy) and in no time you will see maggots crawling out and falling dead on the ground. The application should be repeated until the smell of the wound disappears and the wound starts drying up. Most Vets recommend antibiotics which can harm the kidneys. Even pain killers should be avoided.
There is no mention of the powder being harmful if the pet licks it but this could be avoided if possible.
To keep your pet healthy periodic checks to see if there are any wounds could obviate using Negasunt powder altogether.

so how do you prevent your doggie from licking the powder?
Do you bandage the wound or leave it open after the spray?
I could not imagine maggots infecting on the wounds.
You doggie fur coat is so beautiful.
It sleeps on your bed?
Lucky fella!
In the past, I used to have pet dog-stray on the road because my mom took pity on them.
They had wounds, so she applied yellow lotion on them.
Don't know anything about pets wounds.
Shared at Facebook and Twitter, I have lots of friends who have dogs, good information
Licking that powder is not good for the dog. One needs to restrain the dog from liking it.
Preiti used to sleep on the bed at my feet But now she sleeps on her own bed which is in the bedroom.
The remedy that you tell the readers is good and useful for pets especially for dogs when be under the spell of germs or bacteria attack. every owner must pay attention to pets because they are live and just like men but tongueless cannot tell you i am sick and treat my wounds. I say, we must pets' care at home or out of home keeping in mind they are the tongueless creatures of God. Happy are those who love God's creature great or small.
@jhsayyar I loved the comment happy are those who love God's creatures great and small. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who don't care for them. That is the person's sad situation who doesn't feel that way. Those people can never be happy.
For maggot infestation in my cats I have used negasunt and DMag spray. However, I find that when one notices the first infestation of maggots it is better to use strong solution of hydrogen peroxide (not the 6% solution available with chemists). I usually get 70% hydrogen peroxide, dilute it 50%, fill a syringe and spray it into the wound. This kills maggots and also helps remove foul dead tissues. One can then dust with negasunt, povidone or intasporin. It is cheap and effective. Good luck with this information.
why that powder use for animals
