These poems are my high school poems that I found recently in my old notes. It is actually a poem that I laughed at because I didn’t know if they are good enough to read. I just realize I can write one. 😀 I will surely submit more poems here in literacy base. I just get inspired by these teenage written poems of mine. They are too short that is why I compiled it in two.
For the first poem entitled BECAUSE I surely wrote that for my high school boyfriend. I remember how I adore him since he is my first boyfriend. It so irony because I said some words that expresses how much I love him, but it did not happen in reality because we happened to go in a separate life after high school.
The second poem, LIFELESS talks about how dull life could be when you turn your back on all things that is worth it. After reading this poem, it motivated me to love more the people and things that I have now. It encourages me to give values to everything I have because without those things, everything is LIFELESS.
BECAUSE
Because you came into my life surprisingly
Because you complete me perfectly
Because you love me unconditionally
Because you are to me wholly.
Because you give sparks on my eyes
Because you make my smiles shine
Because you give me new beginning
Because you give me bright new day.
Lifeless
When there are no things around
When there are no friends around
When there are no families around
When everything is nothing around.
If you don’t perceive thing’s worth
If you don’t value friend’s presence
If you don’t appraise family’s means
If you don’t weigh up things, lifeless.
