I buy hair dye for home use not for myself, but for my husband. He uses it to get rid of his gray hair. Lucky for me, I don’t color my hair for this reason (not yet). I used to buy from here for realized that it is a bit pricey and there is no easy way to get “just enough” color to save for later.
As part of my Korean skincare addiction, I discovered online stores like Jolse and noticed that they also sell hair coloring products! The prices aren’t that cheap but I noticed that the packaging is easier to get just enough product for use. So in the end, it costs less since one box of hair coloring product is good for at least two applications! Similar to the first Korean hair coloring product I reviewed here called Aritaum Wonder Color, just enough product are kept in the sachets so there is no waste of product!
The next product that I will review here is from Missha. It is called Long Wear Cream in Dark Brown color. My husband prefers to cover his hair in dark brown coloring products instead of black that’s why I make sure to buy this shade.
Unlike the Aritaum, Missha’s hair coloring has a lot of “tools” in it. Inside the box, you can find an applicator brush, latex gloves, and two tubes of the product. Similar to the ones sold here, you need to mix the content of the two product tubes to create the solution. But unlike the products sold here, the tubes are locked in by screws. So in case you only have very short or thin hair, you need not pour the entire contents only to throw the leftovers!
I really liked this type of packaging because you can estimate just how much product you really need to use. When I saw that Missha’s Long Wear Cream is packed this way, I was hopeful that one box would last for at leas two application with my husband.
Unlucky for me, my husband used the entire thing, LOL! He said that he wanted to make sure his hair is covered entirely to make up from the hair coloring boo-boo he made the last time (also blogged on the Aritaum product review entry).
Despite that, I still think that it is a great deal to buy this. The Garnier or Loreal hair coloring products are priced here at €10~ and can go cheap for as low as €7.99, only if on special. However, the Missha Long Wear Cream I was able to buy at a discounted price of $7.98! Note that I have written this review after re-purchasing it and so far, there was no price increase! So it ends up slightly a cheaper for me if I take into consideration the foreign exchange, the “tons” of freebies I get with Jolse, and the store credit I earn from each purchase.
Overall, I am really happy with this product. And hopefully, my husband will not use the entire thing next time!

I had red hair that I previously dyed back into black but the color was wearing off, so you could see red-ish and blonde-ish hair. I decided to make it even by doing a new coloration.
I picked Sand Brown color by MISSHA, a brown color that could go ash depending of your hair color. To be honest, this is part of my hair project, I want to lighten my hair color little by little then bleach it. We all know that it's hard to bleach black hair, so maybe this process would make it easier.
like how Korean and Japanese do that, you know, giving you the full set.
(cuz French don't do that, they just throw a pair of gloves and I know that my friends and I used to look for a bag, cut a hole to use that as protection sheet to cover ourself
Even though the coverage is not really perfect, I really like using korena hair coloring because it doesn't damage your hair, and the product doesn't smell like dead rat (because, trust me, I've tried products that make your eyes sting, cry and smelling like dead rat... very unpleasant).
