Literacybase.com Compared with an Office Job

Just read a blog post of Fortune about home-based job and an office work, so I got this idea of comparing Literacybase.com with a day-job, or an office job away from home. Thanks to her/him.

On my comment, I said I experienced both and I would love to share it with you.

Home-Based Job Vs. Outside Work

If you are young, a fresh graduate from college at that, it is best that you find a work outside your home. One that is office-based or even field-based where you can use your talents and even learn new skills.

You will meet a lot of people, co-workers who have different characters, and by it, you will learn how to adjust and mingle with them. This is geared at achieving the work goals, for proficiency and productivity. You will learn from them and they will
learn from you.

When employed in an office, stay away from office politics; just be friendly, just toe the line.

Home-based Job
In contrast with a work away from home, home-based job is quite enjoyable for people who got burned out by the daily grind of going to and from an office. This is usually enjoyed by women who have babies or children to look after.

She does not need to rush in the morning, no need to ride public transport or if she has her own vehicle, no need to jostle with congested traffic going to the office. She has no boss, but herself! She can set her own work schedule as long as she finishes it on time.

It is more economical because you save on gas, on transportation fee; on clothes, shoes you will wear going to the office. At home, you can work whatever outfit you are wearing.

Experiencing Office and Home-based Jobs
When I was younger, I had varied day-jobs. I would no longer elaborate it. From it I learned a lot, met a lot of people, influential and lowly ones. Later in life, I got bored, so I chose a home-based job as a freelance writer.

I got some offers; one had a deadline for the article and I found it so stressing, and another thing, I felt some of them were just scamming. One even did not pay for the many write-ups I submitted. Also tried other blogsites like Bubblews, but I was not paid for some three or four redemptions before it shutdown!

Choosing Literacybase.com

So to prevent stress from deadlines, scammers, and sites that were so slow to earn, I signed up here at Literacybase.com. Thanks to a friend from another site, Cely, for informing me about this beautiful site.I observed that it is easier to earn here; just submit longer blog post and interact or comment on other members’ blogs, or join in the discussions.

Thanks to Literacybase.com. Hope this site stays for so long.

    • I found your post interesting and informative. For long now I have been trying to find sites online where I can earn some money. Unfortunately most of these sites are scams. I found it very hard to get any legit site. I got introduced to literacy base by an online forum friend. Am still a newbie here, but I have found this platform interesting and very interactive. I like the fact that you get to earn money through almost every activity you perform here. Discussions, sharing on social media, blogging, and so on and so forth.I would encourage those who are just starting online activities to join literacy base because it's easy to earn here, even if you can't create your own unique content, you can earn by commenting on other people's contents. Once more let me take this opportunity to thank you for sharing such an awesome and informative article.

      • Thank you Mathews for your compliment. Yes, we are so happy to had found Literacybase where we earn even if we comment on posts or join in fora. If not for my friend who encouraged me, I will not join because I was so afraid to join some obscure sites where time and effort got wasted. Thanks, there is a site like Literacybase, and hope this site will last long.

    • I do think that young graduates need to practice their major and work in certain companies. It is better for them to have work experience. Online jobs can still be a part of their adventure. They can work as part-time and it should not limit their ability to do something.

As for me, I had worked in some companies or organizations. I had earned my soft skills with these previous jobs. However, I stopped and decided to work at home. I finally found a niche that can nourish my existing skills and earn money more than what the local companies in my city. I can still be flexible and work part time online if I wished to.

      • Thanks my friend, Shavkat for your reply. Am happy to know that you can work both in an office and at home. It is good you have such skills where you can choose what kind of work you wanted; online and flexible.

You are right that even fresh graduates can both work in an office and still have a sideline like writing online or having an online business. It is the trend nowadays.

    • I think literacy base came as a blessing to all those fond of writing as well as interacting. I love this site and especially for it's good pay scales. I really wish it stays for long.

Though I still haven't received any payment until now and hopefully will be pais this month I,m really hopeful about a broad prospect here.

      • I am relatively new here. I joined Feb.28 and posted a blog last March 1. Yes, this is a nice site, where it is easier to earn than other blog sites.

We do hope this site will last for so long for all of us to enjoy interaction here. Thank you DR KOKIL AGARWAL.

    • In the case of a gradute student i think it is better to be on Literacy Base and get some income then another job, this gives them time to study and relieve stress. Yet if it was someone who was a family i think a stable job is important and Literacy Base would be some spare chage to do some other things.

      • Yes, I agree, one can have both; a day-job, and writing blogs here as a sideline. But it needs a lot of time management.
