Literacy Base has come up with an innovative idea

When I opened one of my blogs this morning, I was  surprised to see  a host of other blog titles not necessarily relating to my title,  appearing on the right side of my blog. 

For a moment I felt it was cluttering my page but on second thoughts I felt it was a brilliant idea. 

I am not one who shares my blogs   for the simple reason that most of my connections are not into blogging nor are they computer savvy. 

I am a senior citizen and I do write on many subjects under the sun. But I have not many to share my knowledge among  those known to me.  There was a time when youngsters would flock round seniors listening to their stories. But these days youngsters have better things to do than sit around their parents or grandparents.  They think it is a waste of time and their popular slogan ‘Do not lecture’ rings in my ears and I am sure in the ears of other  seniors too.  But there is hope they will read my blogs because they will find them on the Net and that is where you will find these youngsters glued to.

I opened a blog at random and there I saw a title of my blog. This blogger whose blog I was reading has a great following on many sites and now I know my blog will reach all those followers that this blogger follows and hopefully my blogs will be opened by  others than the users here. 

This is the first of a kind as far as I am concerned. I do see a site doing it but that is not a blogging site.

Literacy Base has certainly made a stride in the direction of sharing blogs that would otherwise be languishing having no takers unless the Net as a whole picks them up by the keywords that Google so generously puts them up.  

I am sure there will be some indication in ‘My history’ where some views will be recorded.
