Surat, that was Suryapur once, is one of the most famous cities that figures very high in the list of my most favorite Indian cities. Surat is also known as Green City, Silk City and definitely the Diamond city of the world. If you’re planning to visit the city do not forget to visit The Old Fort in Surat built by Tughlak similar to Turkish architectural designs.
As the saying goes it was built in 16th century to protect local people from the attack of the local tribal groups that resisted the foreign Mughal rulers by attacking them constantly. The other famous building in Surat is guesthouse constructed during the rule of Mughal emperor Shahjahan to provide a comfortable stay to travelers that came to Surat for business purpose.
There is an old tank in the palace campus that was filled with Tapi River’s water to keep regular water supply for inmates of the palace in olden times. Now most of the palace houses government offices but many parts have been left open for the tourists. The other famous building here is guesthouse constructed during the rule of Mughal emperor Shahjahan to provide a comfortable stay to travelers that came to Surat for business purpose.

I like tigers that are safely in the zoo, and not in the wild.
I doubt I will travel all the way to India just to see the tigers.
Yes, the country is beautiful. But, unfortunately, these days the country is losing her beauty.
I've never been in india but i think the country has rich in wildlife. I just see an animal when i go at the zoo but they were trapped on a cage. I hope to see a living animal with their own habitat where they can freely move, search for their own foods, interact with other animals in their own environment.
India I believe is a very beautiful place to stay. I have never been to India before but am really in love with their movies. I watch their movies and their surroundings is something to talk home about. Their houses are one in a million. The very big houses they have and they beauty of their houses makes me go madly in love with their movies and I believe these houses add beauty to their countries. One very thing I don't like about India is their a law against women. They behave like Muslims and have little respect for the ladies. Another aspect that makes India a beautiful place is their ladies, they have very beautiful ladies who you can't pass without looking at them twice. I love their culture and festivals and sometimes wish our culture can be like theirs. I love their women's sari and their mode of dresses. They really are nice. Though it a very big country, they have nice roads free from dirt. I detect these always from their movies. India is also the best country to study medicine and I think is really a good place to stay.
I really wish to travel to India to see all these myself in real life.
There is these man I love so much, he's an Indian actor in an Indian movie DESTINY, his name Suryakant Gorodia. I love his house and how they decorate the interior. How they decorate the surrounding during a festival makes me go mad. Their second name should be Beauty.
suny,dear..well done.Even before going through this article,I have always loved to go to India on a trip. But I have been told it is a bit difficult to go there, especially in view of the present day conflict between India and Pakistan.I want to see many cities including the ones you have mentioned here. I hope a day will come when both the countries would resolve their issues, and provide facilities to their citizens to visit each others countries.
India is no doubt a wonderful place . It has loads of cultural diversity, religions and castes.
The traditional values here are unique and cannot be found anywhere else. For us guests are supreme and anyone coming to visit India is most welcome.
