It seems that March is such a very long month, as if it takes a year for it to end. The last time he came home was just a month ago. He came home last month just to celebrate some occasions. One is the Vday (Valentines Day). I never expected him to invite me out for a movie and I was so happy at that time, but the movie date was postponed. No, not postponed – it was CANCELLED! Too bad, we both have to stay because we have a child. He missed his dad so much that he doesn’t want us to leave him even just for a while. As a mom, I have to sacrifice my own happiness for my child. So thanks, but no thanks to that movie date coz it’s never going to happen.
Maybe I’m missing him this much though I have just seen him last month is because we never have time to go out anymore. Those wonderful times we had together will only be seen in my mind, those are now memories, memories I have to keep recalling because none of those will ever happen again. A parent’s life is much different than being just lovers. You have to set aside some for your partner and be with your kid at most times. I have always reserved something for my husband and I don’t know if he does for me. He is so attached to our son that he doesn’t want us to go out without him. I believe in marriage, we still both deserve a time for me and him only.
Anyway, I don’t feel bad at all, it’s just that I really missed him so badly. Hope he comes home soon. We could still watch movie with popcorn at home with our son. It’s even more fun that way.

Is he working far from you?
With partners, even if they have children already, they should really take time to be going out by themselves, be it just a simple dinner in a restaurant or just that- watching a movie.
As couples they are what helps keep the love alive. Though, it is also okay that we get to be away from each other for a few days because it also makes us yearn for the other one and thus deepen the love we have for our partner.
Although, the child they have is what can also deepen their love for each other, but still they should really have a time alone by themselves to bond.
we used to have our alone time every 8th of the month.. that's our special date, but now that he works in a far place he only comes home for special occasions, I didn't even expect he would consider Vday to be special. He surprised me, and it's the best feeling though it was cancelled at least he is thoughtful enough. :-D
