How Marine Le Pen did so well

For many years, the Front National was a fringe group.   It was considered a neo-Nazi party, something one didn’t want to be associated with unless they were into lynching and Synagogue and Mosque burning.

Today, it is considered a Pro-French ‘patriotic’ party.

Marine Le Pen, who was the leader of the FN Party until today, when she stepped down, garnered 23.1% of the vote, that is .9% less than the ‘winner’, Emmanuel Macron.

There is not a great shock, in 2017, considering the recent historical past.

No country likes to be told what they are to do.   What made these past few years even more antagonising, was the fact that nations in the European Union were to accept refugees.

These were not the usual people who come into a country and outwardly adapt, trying to be as much like their hosts as possible.  These are people who have their culture and want to push it down the throats of every one in their ambit.   They want society to change to suit them.

As bad as this is, the fact that since the opening of borders there is scarcely a month that can pass where there is not some terrorist activity.   Bombs, riding trucks into pedestrians, shootings,  and all are attributed to immigrants.

For the European Union to say anything about ‘open borders’ to in any way try to encourage the members to accept the migrants, is to provoke an argument.

Even the German, Angela Merkel has taken a few steps back, and countries like Hungry are just dying to be told what they are to do, which would provoke a Hexit.

The United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union because of the migrant crisis.   Mouth can say anything, but not accepting Muslims into the U.K. is the reality.

Marine Le Pen would slam shut the doors, toss out as many of the migrants as she could, and pull France out of the E.U.

This is not as unbelievable as it might have been ten or even five years ago.

There has been too many situations in Europe in which terrorists have set the agenda.   The public is afraid. And despite speeches and various meetings and marches, they don’t want any more migrants.

Between today and elections, it depends on what the terrorists do how the French will vote.   It is as simple as that.

With Trump in America, with the United Kingdom pulling out of the Union, all possibilities are on the table.
