Hiking is no doubt one of the most relaxing and fulfilling hobbies that there is, sure it is physically demanding and not for just anyone, but the rewards are worthwhile. If you are in search of a way to relieve stress while staying or getting fit then hiking is a great way to do it. There is just something about being outside that makes people feel free from stress and everyday burden. As I have traveled around the country I have been at liberty of meeting many people. While I know that not all people live the life that they dream of, they typically don’t show their foul emotions when we pass one another on the trail. Sure that same guy that gave me a friendly “hello” might be someone who just lost a family member. Yes the lady that I had a fun fifteen minute conversation with about the Appalachian trail could have signed the papers for a divorce yesterday and of course the kid that needed a hand climbing up the last hill might have failed his last history exam, but that didn’t stop him from offering me one of his granola bars before continuing on his way. These people could have stayed home and loathed in their problems but instead they decided to get out, get moving, to let nature free their minds. I’m not saying that hiking is a sure solution for anyone’s stress nor will it fix all the problems that one might face in everyday life, but if you or somebody you know is looking to get out, and have a great time while letting go of stress; then I highly recommend that they give hiking a try. There are trails in every state for all skill levels. With a little research and some quick preparation almost anyone with any skill level can be on their way to relief in no time at all. So, what are you waiting for? Lace up those shoes and get to stepping your worries away!

Hiking is the best stress-reliever.Along the path toward the peak of the mountain, you have the excitement of shouting at the highest part of it.It was also a good time to be with friends while walking along the mountain trails. If I can have the chance, I will definitely do hiking with friends and stay in camps on top of the mountain peak.
I love hiking too especially on high mountains but afraid on rocky ones, I might fall, nobody will catch me :D. I am not really an adventurer because I only hike sometimes on my spare time.
What I love the most on hiking is that I just wanna escape from the stressful city and also the pollution. I like the fresh air that refreshes me. And most especially when I want to escape from memories when my heart is broke :D kidding aside :D
Hiking is a must to do activities if you're trying to find a get away to unwind once in a while. It is one of the most effective tool to relieve stress, anxiety, boredom and of course to have some fun activities to boost your mind and body. To take a break for while from work, feel the fresh air, and have some sort of solitude with those spectacular view of mountain heighs admiring the beauty of nature.
Tess! I agree, hiking is most definitely a great stress reliever. I like to go jogging, it seems to clear my mind of all thoughts. I feel so free, it's good for your body also. So get your hiking or jogging on.
