When it comes to making money from your blog, you need to find country specific. You can see that country specific traffic has a lot of benefits. And it can generate revenue for you. But you need to take effort to filter out the traffic and then push the pages which you wish to convert. I think country specific traffic is not easy to get. The reason being you have to understand those people. Even if you know them, the pattern with which they browse the site may not be easy to understand and learn from. So you have to learn how to do that with enough experimentation. You have to look at the local trends and the apply them to your pages. I think many people who want to promote the local products find the local leads useful. For example, let’s say you have some store which is bricks and mortar store. And your products are real not information based. So here in this case you have to find local leads. And you have to find people who can get the work done for the traffic that brings local people. Local leads are going to get your sales. And for this you have to target the country specific leads. You can’t use US based leads for your India based website or service. Because that way you are going to have some issues for your leads there.

Many ads like say Facebook and Adwords have a setting where you can only show specific ads to the country specific users. And this way you don’t waste your money on ads. And your ads won’t be visible outside the context. So for Indian users who want Indian visitors to see your ads, are not going to see your ad. You have to see that the ads are visible only to the specific people. This is only possible if you can make such settings. In some cases, however you can make it available to all. And that is surefire way to waste your money. You may have to understand that many people have lost their ad budget this way.
User Age
Sometimes users country is not the only thing to look out for marketing. You have to also check the age and the gender for the promotion. You have to check out user targeting through age and gender. This is possible on most of the age and the gender specific settings. I have found that FB is more useful platform if you are looking for targeted leads this way. You may however have to setup the campaign the right way in such case. Users age however plays big role. You can’t promote some of the products to them. And with time you have to adjust that part in your campaigns.
As you can see these are some of the good reasons why you should have country specific users on your website or product website.
