Some male and female partners use breach of communication to express their grievances against the other partner. Some use breach of information as a punishment to their spouses for pulling out of their mutual agreement. Some use breach of information as a show of pride and upper handedness so that the deprived partner will seek ways of repairing the lost communication.
However, breach of communication can destroy life, business, properties and retard family welfare.

The couple was traumatized by their relations and friends for not having babies in the relationship. On the sixth year, the couple were blessed with a baby boy named “Naza”.Comfort after the birth of Naza continued to express her dislike over all what her husband and other people said against her during their five years waiting period. When Naza clocked six months, Benjamin a casual worker in a factory went to work one day. Benjamin’s mother Bessie visited the couple and met Comfort with the baby Naza at home. Comfort welcomed her mother inlaw, cooked for her and gave her a rousing welcome. Benjamin’s mother saw the baby milk tins and beverages that Comfort and Naza were taking. She said,”Benji’s money has finished o, it is like you are not giving breast milk to my grandson!”.On hearing this, Comfort flared up and said,” Mama, I will not like you to continue all your bad words as you did before God gave this baby to us. You cursed me with all types of curses. You told me that I used evil medicine to marry Benjamin your son.Please,allow me to enjoy my family as you are enjoying yours”.Bessie,Benjamin’s mother said, “let me tell you, I and my children, we do not like you. Even if you deliver Azikiwe and Awolowo we don’t want you”. There and then, Comfort annoyingly sneaked out through the back door and left Naza with her mother in law, Benjamin’s mother. Comfort left to her mother’s house. As Benjamin was returning that day, afar off, he heard the cry of Naza. Benjamin saw his mother, Bessie; hugging Naza.He greeted his mother and went into their bedroom to change his clothes. When he came out of the bedroom, Naza was still crying. Benjamin called Comfort several times, but no voice of Comfort was heard around the building and sorroundings.Benjamin asked his mother where Comfort had gone, Bessie lied that she was discussing with Comfort a while ago before she suddenly disappeared living Naza to her. The mother and son waited for Comfort till night and Comfort did not return. The next day, Benjamin went to work and took permission. He was told to resume after 2 days otherwise he will loose his job. For about two days,Naza cried day and night. Benjamin went to his in-laws and saw Comfort washing plates in her mother’s kitchen. He called Comfort’s name and she did not respond. Benjamin went to comfort’s mother asking her to help him ask Comfort what made her to leave their six month old baby Naza to her mother in-law Bessie and return to her maiden home. Comfort neither talked to her mother nor her husband. When the night was falling, Benjamin went back to the city. When he got to the house,Naza had become very weak. Benjamin’s mother, Bessie said that she prepared baby food, gave to Naza, but Naza did not eat. She said that Naza has cried for two days and had not eaten anything. Benjamin and his mother did not sleep that night because Naza was very weak and seldom cried. The following morning Benjamin took Naza and his mother Bessie to Comfort’s Maiden home. Before their arrival, Comfort has gone to the market with her mother. Benjamin sent for Mama Comfort and Comfort from the market. Before Comfort and her mother came back from the market,Naza purged more than seven times. Immediately Naza was dropped into his mother’s arms,Naza died. The two families went into loud cries. It is an abomination for a child to die in his or her maternal home”.
This is how breach of communication took the life of Naza from a couple who spent five years waiting for a baby. Had it been that Comfort opened her mouth to Benjamin on his first visit to her maiden home, she would not have lost Naza.It is also not good for mother in-laws to enviously intervene into the marital lives of their children. Comfort’s mother did not do well. She should have told Comfort to go and bring Naza from her mother in-law’s care. It is important to note that Naza was not familiar with his grandmother, Benjamin’s mother, Bessie. Benjamin was sacked from his company job after all because he overstayed his permission. So the breach of communication that came with the visit of Bessie, Benjamin’s mother and Comfort’s mother in-law brought immeasurable devastation to the marriage of Benjamin and Comfort. Every partner in a marriage should flee from breach of communication. The troubles associated with breach of communication in marriage are better imagined that experienced in reality.
