This past Sunday I visited Anandpur Sahib, its a place where we have Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib. Sikhs have in total 5 Takhts, Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib in Anandpur Sahib, punjab, Takht Sri Damdama Sahib, Takht Sri Patna Sahib, in bihar patna, Takht Sri Hazur Sahib, Nanded Maharashtra, Takht Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Amritsar Punjab.
All Takhts have great value for Sikhs and Sikhism.
So I visited there Sunday, It was a great visit, and we were informed that we need to wake up early as the trip will commence on 7 AM, early morning. So I requested mom to woke me up at 4. 30 Am, and she did woke me up on time. Then first thing I do was to pack my bag for Biscuits, chips, snacks and candies as well and of course water bottle and glass. Then I rushed to brush my teeth’s and then to have bath. After that I had a quick breakfast snack and some tea early in the morning at 6 AM. Then I get ready, wore clothes and tied my turban and also had my dose of medicine as I have faced some troubles during bus trips’ so I had a pill to control vomit’s and thankfully it did wonders and I never had any problem like that during trip.
We reached there by around 10 In the morning, and after prayers we had some food which is called langar and is served free of cost. Then we had Tea and visited other nearby places and market for some shopping as well.
We were scheduled to drive back by 2.30 Pm and it did the same and I was back home by 6 Pm, it was a great and blessed day for me, enjoyed it very much. Then after I reached home. I took shower and then have some tea and snacks as well. Had some television, Then I had my dinner at 8 Pm and slept at 9.30 PM, it was very early but as I woke up early that day, so I slept early to reimburse my sleep. And then felt very good and relaxed on Monday morning, when I woke up..
It was a blessed Sunday and I will remember that till lifetime and hopefully many more coming for me.
