A Different Question about Reincarnation

 There are numerous examples of people who claim to have  ‘remembered’ their past lives.   They may recall these lives in a great deal of detail, and describe them just as you would describe going to that market.  They may ‘remember’ their past names, or where they lived, or what they did.

Others do not have those details but experience what is called, deja vu, that is, the feeling they have met this person before, or been to this venue.

Some times, when one reads history, there is a sense that one was actually there.

Although these features have been mentioned and discussed, with all kinds of examples, what is not studied are the choices that people make now  which may be based on something that happened in their past lives.

There is nothing in their ‘now’ self  which explains the choice, but perhaps, the decision was made based on something that happened to their ‘then’ self.

Yet, there are people who do not want children.

They may give politically correct explanations,  act as if they are too busy or some other story.  But there is something hollow in the statement.    The feeling that there is something ‘wrong’ with their story can’t be shaken.

Could it be, that in past lives, these people suffered the loss of their children and can not bear to experience this again?

Could it be that decisions one takes today are not based on the situation here and now, but on something from a past life?
