Looking Back

When I saw this picture on Facebook I just had to share it with you.  How true this saying is!!  “Don’t waste your time looking back, you’re not going that way.” We some times live in our past trying to correct our mistakes, but in order to move forward…we must let go.

Life is all about learning.  Life is going to be full of mistakes, but we must let them go and learn from them and move on.  We can’t live in the”what ifs” of the moment.  We just have to do what we think is right at the time and move forward. We can’t focus on the past or we will never have a future.  It’s like putting things in storage, some times you have to do some “spring cleaning” and get rid of things.  Once we let go of those things we can truly move forward and have closure.

A lot of times we have emotions about some one that we keep inside of us and that some times often hinders relationships that we can have in the future.  By hanging on to those “old” feelings were not allowing ourselves to fully live.  Once we get rid of those feelings and not bring our “baggage” with us, we can then move forward.

Often times it’s not easy to leave our past in the past because we don’t want to be hurt in the future.  Often times it’s easier and maybe more comfortable to be in that comfort zone of NOT moving forward, of being sheltered.  One has to understand though that you’re NOT truly living if your living in the past of some past memories.  Oh, sure we should be cautious of having our feelings hurt, but we can’t judge every one we meet by past experiences.  We have to trust again and learn from those experiences where we have to be cautious, but life doesn’t stand still because you’ve made a mistake or have been hurt.  You’ll make more mistakes and will be hurt again, but we must learn from those mistakes and heartaches and try again and again!!  Moving forward gets easier, because you want to experience something new!!

    • Our lives need to know the importance of moving forward. Looking back is fine, but we can't get back the old bad times. It can serve a learning process not to experience such thing again. Some people are still in denial and choose to such misery life. If someone experiencing such life, we can help them out to uplift such depression. However, if these people refusing such support system. We Just need to continue to be at their side no matter what. Another option, we can ask expert assistance.

    • You say right do not look back what you have done it passed was past but think what to do in future keeping in mind past mistakes so that we could make bright our future for the coining generation and foe self must be in our minds.

I hurt myself deeply, though at the time I had no idea how deeply. I should have learned many things from that experience, but when I look back on it, all I gained was one single, undeniable fact. That ultimately I am a person who can do evil.

I never consciously tried to hurt anyone, yet good intentions notwithstanding, when necessity demanded, I could become completely self-centred, even cruel. I was the kind of person who could, using some plausible excuse, inflict on a person I cared for a wound that would never heal,

I don't know whether you can look at your past and find, woven like the hidden symbols on a treasure map, the path that will point to your final destination
