Should Experienced Certified Nursing Assistants get paid more Money?

Experienced Certified Nursing Assistants are very much underpaid. The work that consists of CNA’s, are not getting properly met. The work ethic is at some of these companies are horrible. Some companies don’t pay for differential shifts. Some companies don’t pay for overtime. All of these differences are going on with today’s Certified Nursing Assistants. We are also understaffed in some of these companies as well.

Some changes need to be taken in order for Certified Nursing Assistants to be of any use to any company. Certified Nursing Assistants need to start cracking down on the seriousness of our profession. We have a very difficult job and we deserve the proper respect of taking care of our seniors and disabled. Once some of these rules are put into place in order to help with the short staff of Certified Nursing Assistants, the work environment in nursing homes, assisted living, hospice, home care agencies and hospital staff will be a great asset to the work environment.

The Certified Nursing Assistant will value their job more because they are being well compensated for their services. There are very good care givers who need to find steady and stable work. There are companies that educate the caregivers for future advances towards your career or which could be of good benefits within the job, itself. The tests that these companies require you to take, has to be taken within a certain amount of time, in order for you to receive recognition for the educational material. The State Nurse Aide Registry require these educational materials to be done in order to help the Nursing Assistant maintain education /new rules and regulations in this profession at all times with certain companies.

Once completed these certain tasks that are given by your company, the Certified Nursing Assistant will get credited for their work and the test will be submitted to the Nurse Aide Registry for further evaluation. You will probably know of any changes through your place of employment, if there is any. The Certified Nursing Assistant should be notified of any changes.
