For a business, twitter is known to be a great social media platform. There are various methods of using your twitter handle effectively. However, the best choice is to use the platform in a normal manner. In order to get more followers, you can share links and promotion codes to related business information on the handle and persuade retweets for extra discounts to the clients who retweets for you.
It is a widely known fact that wikipedia is a shared encyclopedia and is also open-source. On it anybody can create and edit content. However a lot of people back away from being a creator or an administrator of a page on wikipedia. It is because they think that they do not have the technical knowledge to build a page successfully. Still, a page on wikipedia can be easily created by using the ‘wikipedia article wizard’, on the home page of the website.
It gives you free promotion. Established reviewers think your article content is based on facts. You should not make false statements and inflated claims. Your page should concentrate on common facts that offer a professional and polished image of your business. To spread your business reach and enlarge your client base, you might wish to consider making use of some other online platforms of distribution and marketing.
For instance, just like the creation of a platform on Facebook for your business, you can also create a page on Google+ with related deals and information for people who like the social media website Google+ as against Facebook. A different alternative is to promote your products and services through the news media that can be downloaded free. They are like Ebook series that transfer important ideas or iTunes podcast and create faith in your business amid an available new customer base.

Twitter, Wikipedia, free e-books, podcasts - all excellent ideas for the promotion of a business! I wasn't aware that there's a wizard for creating the Wikipedia pages. I'll have to take a look at it sometime.
I like that you advise the reader not to make false claims or to inflate the truth when writing for a business page on Wikipedia. The site and the community that run Wikipedia insist that all claims be backed up with a reference. Many articles are flagged because they seem to be first-person accounts, to reflect unpublished personal research, or to be too promotional in tone. Many, many more Wikipedia articles will have minor flags because a member of the community has noted a claim is made without the appropriate reference citation.
I suspect that it's better to add a stub to Wikipedia in order to represent one's brand or business, with just the most basic information that can be sourced from the company web site. Once that page exists, others can add to it as new information can be sourced. This will tend to add to the reputation of both the Wikipedia page and the brand.
I do have to wonder whether the connection of the brand to a Wikipedia page - or even of the company owner to other reputable articles on Wikipedia - might help to boost the clout of the brand? I would think it could work in much the same way that backlinks from reputable web sites can help to convince Google of the authority with which an individual or a company writes.
I don't have a lot of experience with having a page for one's brand or company on Google+. At the moment, I'm still not sure how I feel about the so-called "circles" they use to organize people we follow on the site. It doesn't seem as if it adds much to one's experience, or helps much to give content a better reach. I am similarly unsure how I feel about the "collections." They seem, if anything, to reduce the reach of content. That may be intended to supply a more targeted audience, but I'm not convinced enough people are using the feature appropriately. Unless it becomes widespread, it's not likely to do much to help....
Thank You for this informative ideas. I never knew one can create a page in wikipedia and promote sales through it. I will give it a trial. This is a well creative information. Thank you once again for posting.
