What does it really mean to work? Working to me usually and used to mean to me going out the front or back door and walking five blocks to a local hospital and work a shift as a licensed practical nurse. I did this for approximately almost 15 years. Now about after five years I have been trying to become a free lance writer/blogger. I have had some success in doing some online tutoring and writing, but I wish I could find a way and a site that would let me to this.
There is always the thought in the back of my mind that nudges me to keep looking for how long will these sites be around. I have been accepted to a few other sites and it seems that after a few months the sites decide not to pay due to other obligations. I really love to write but I also have to earn a living somehow. Writing is the work I would love to do, but I have to be honest I would like to be compensated somehow.
I am waiting to hear about a possible online teaching position, but I have yet to hear anything. If anyone knows of an online college needing instructors let me know. I am nearing the end of my doctoral program and need to start finding ways to pay school loans. Finding work is work in itself. That is what working means to me.

Work should yield results and that for me is work not matter in which area it is. Working to earn is not the only area where work yields results. Working to cook a great meal, to produce flowers in the garden, to search the Net for information..........the list is endless.
And for you at the moment work is to find work - interesting.
I would love just to be able to write for a living. Maybe when I finish my nursing study book maybe that will be my writing profession since then I will have to make updates to the book as well.
