West Indies Beat Zimbabwe in 3rd T 20 of series, 2013

Zimbabwe was scheduled to play a 3 Match T 20 International Series in West Indies in 2013. Both teams have great players and all rounder’s and match winners and it would be interesting to see them battle in this series and who batted very well  will be crowned as the winner after the series as both are ranked at 6 and 10. The 3rd T 20 international match was to be played on Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua, and West Indies on 3^rd March 2013. West Indies holds the upper hand as they are more experienced team and playing at home.

West Indies batted very well and was able to post total of 170 runs in 20 over’s at the loss of 7 wickets and with top scores of K Powell who made 60 runs in 30 balls with 3 4’s and 4 six at the strike rate of 200 runs in 100 balls and L Simmons who made 41 runs in 41 balls with 1 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 100 runs in 100 balls.

Zimbabwe was needed to score 171 runs in 20 over’s to win this match.

Zimbabwe batted well but was unable to chase the target of 171 runs and was able to score only 150 runs in 20 over’s at the loss of 9 wickets and lost the game by 20 runs and with top contributions from Chamu C who made 45 runs in 45 balls with 6 4’s and 1 sixes at the strike rate of 100 runs in 100 balls.

West Indies won the match by 20 runs and won the series 3-0.
