West Indies Beat Zimbabwe in 3rd ODI of series, 2013

Zimbabwe was scheduled to play a 3 Match ONE DAY International Series in West Indies in 2013. Both teams have great players and all rounder’s and match winners and it would be interesting to see them battle in this series and who batted very well  will be crowned as the winner after the series as both are ranked at 6 and 10. The 3rd ONE DAY international match was to be played on National Cricket Stadium, St George’s, Grenada, and West Indies on 26^th Feb 2013. West Indies holds the upper hand as they are more experienced team and playing at home.

Zimbabwe batted very well and was able to post total of 211 runs in 50 over’s at the loss of 9 wickets and with top scores of Chamu C who made 48 runs in 62 balls with 3 4’s and 2 six at the strike rate of 77 runs in 100 balls and Vusi S who made 41 runs in 60 balls with 3 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 68 runs in 100 balls.

West Indies was needed to score 212 runs in 50 over’s to win this match.

West Indies batted well and was able to chase the target of 212 runs in 46.2 over’s at the loss of 5 wickets and won the game by 5 wickets in hand with top contributions from D bravo who made 72 runs in 103 balls with 5 4’s and 0 sixes at the strike rate of 70 runs in 100 balls.

West Indies won the match by 5 wickets in hand and won the series 3-0.
