THE HAPPINESS WHICH WE RUN AFTER….

What is this HAPPINESS and who is HAPPY…???

Probably, there is no formal definition of HAPPINESS. We can’t see but feel….Positive emotions  with pleasure, pride, satisfaction and gratitude.

The famous peoples describe it in many ways.  ” HAPPINESS IS THE MEANING AND THE PURPOSE OF LIFE, THE WHOLE AIM AND END OF HUMAN EXISTENCE.”…. said by ARISTOTLE.

In HINDUISM,  there is beautiful explanation of happiness. ” WHERE DO WE FIND THIS REAL HAPPINESS? IT IS INTEREST WITHIN EACH ONE OF US. WHERE IS IT LOCATED/ IT IS NOT LOCATED AS SUCH; IT IS WE OURSELVES. OURSELVES? OH, YES, WE ARE OF THE NATURE OF BLISS. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? WE ARE BLISS. OUR NATURE IS ONE OF IMMORTAL BLISS. WE HAVE FORGOTTEN THIS SINGLE TRUTH.”…… by SWAMI SUNIRMALANANDA.

The famous saint RISHI AUROBINDO said, “HAPPINESS IS THE NATURAL STATE OF HUMANITY.”

SWAMI VIVEKANANDA explain…”REAL HAPPINESS IS NOT IN THE SENSES BUT ABOVE THE SENSES.”

According to BUDDHISM, happiness is a mental factor or it is a type of mental activity with which we are aware of an object in a certain way. “IF WITH A PURE MIND A PERSON SPEAKS OR ACTS,  HAPPINESS FOLLOWS THEM LIKE A NEVER DEPARTING SHADOW.”…. in DHAMMAPADA.

The BIBLE says…. 1. THOSE WHO FEAR THE LORD ARE HAPPY.

2. HAPPY ARE THOSE WHO KEEP GOD,S LAWS.

3. HAPPY ARE THOSE WHO HAVE CHILDREN.

4. HAPPY ARE THOSE WHO DON’T CONDEMN SELF.

5. THOSE WHO TRUST IN THE LORD.

6. THOSE WHO REQUIRE WISDOM.

LORD JESUS said, “REJOICE YE IN THAT DAY, AND LEAP FOR JOY; FOR, BEHOLD, YOUR REWARD IS GREAT IN HEAVEN…..” (LK.6:22,23)

MANY WAYS… MANY OPINION. But ultimately the GOAL is same.
