We both had a craze for pedigree and went around in search of them. We paid a good amount.
The first one was a mix of Alsatian and Doberman. Unfortunately this dog did not prove to be a pet and we lost it when it was young – hardly two years. .
Our next choice was for a dalmatian who loved us and we loved him. What we realised was that because of its size it was difficult for us to handle him as when he fell ill carrying him around proved impossible and tiresome. We lost him after having him in our life for ten and a half years.
We then searched for a pedgree but with a managable size. We landed with a Bull Terrier who we were told would be difficult to handle because of their personality. We proved everyone wrong as our pet was the most loving although we had to do a lot to domesticate him. We had him for ten and a half years.
We then took care of a street dog She was a part of the litter of another female. She gave us beautiful moments and produced puppies too.
We had two of their puppies one each of her two litters.
These have left behind great memories.
We vouched never to go for the pedigree and in fact had decided to stop having pets for a while when in walked a bundle of black that looked like a puppy. We instantly liked her and she liked us. She is with us now.
We now encourage everyone to go for stray dogs as they are no less than the pedigree or could be even better. Our latest is so well behaved, mild and conducts herself with dignity She feels happy when we have guests and pleases them with her pleasant ways.
There is an aversion to have females but if they are spayed they could serve as great pets and they watch the house better.

Actually street dogs are healthier than pedigree after you have taken care of them. They are more likely to be street smart, and they are not fussy eaters.
Actually I found no difference. It is how a dog is brought up pedigree or otherwise.
I am very happy most of the people before buying any check its pedigree so that they could buy a good dog and its breeding will be nice. The rule is very good and appeals to wisdom.
But I think when we love any one we do not check its pedigree why? you bring a girl at your home just for breeding children not for sex. In such condition we do not check the girl's pedigree because looking at her dazzling beauty the eyes of wisdom do not open.
It is human fault that he checks animal pedigree and does not check wife's friends' and beloved's pedigree.
I wonder on man's wit and wisdom.
