Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh in 3rd ODI of series,2014

Sri Lanka was scheduled to play a 3 Match ONE DAY International Series in Bangladesh in 2014. Both teams have great players and all rounder’s and match winners and it would be interesting to see them battle in this series and who will be crowned as the winner after the series as both are ranked at 3 and 8. The 3rd  ONE DAY international match was to be played on Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka, Bangladesh on 22^nd Feb 2014.

Bangladesh batted well and was able to post total of 240 runs in 50 over’s at the loss of 8 wickets and with top scores of M haque who made 60 runs in 60 balls with 8 4’s and 0 six at the strike rate of 100 runs in 100 balls and M rahim who made 30 runs in 37 balls with 3 4’s and 0 six at the strike rate of 81 runs in 100 balls.

Sri Lanka was needed to score 241 runs in 50 over’s to win this match.

Sri Lanka batted well and was able to chase the score of 241 runs in 47.3 over’s at the loss of 4 wickets and won the game by 6 wickets in hand and top scores by K perera who made 106 runs in 124 balls with 6 4’s and 5 six at the strike rate of 85 runs in 100 balls.

Sri Lanka won the match by 6 wickets in hand and now this 3 Match ONE DAY international series ends at 3-0 in favor of Sri Lanka, they have won the series.
