Rush Hour (1998) extended movie review
This is among the most popular comedy movies that crossed over the box office in the past century. In this movie the main stars are Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker portrayed as 2 police officers, Lee (Jackie Chan) is a loyal and dedicated Hong Kong police officer, also a very prominent one that has showed his skills in the past many times in dangerous actions to bust one of the biggest crime mafia in Japan (Yakuza), while Carter (Chris Tucker) is a messy happy-go-lucky police officer that does not take his job seriously, because he gets assigned on every-day traffic missions and drug busting thugs, which annoys him and he wants a break. He insists to get assigned more dangerous missions as he wants to show his “ellite detective skills”.
Anyways, the Chinese Consul’s daughter gets kidnapped and Lee and Carter get assigned to find the Consul’s daughter alive, and bring her back. The characters and ways of work of these two don’t match, however this is where all the fun begins in the movie. Carter with his loud mouth and reckless actions bumps into many accidents on the way, just making the job more difficult for Lee.
And on their detective trip to discover the mafia’s hideout and find the location of the Consul’s daughter, they have a lot of adventures. Everything you search for in an action-comedy movie, is displayed in this movie.
I am so bad at explaining lol, anyways as I do nott want to spoil it more for you, I definitely recommend you to watch it, and then watch the rest 2 sequels of this movie; Rush Hour 2 (2001) and Rush Hour 3 the final part (2007)
IMDB rated it 6.6, and I rate it 10/10. Excellent movie, when you get the time, sit down with some popcorn and give it a try if you are in the mood to watch a movie that will pump up your adrenaline and stretch your jaw.

I think Chan and Tucker make a good comedy duo, minus the foul language Tucker sometimes uses.
The whole film staff and bosses gives us the whole package. Not boring and definitely a good one.
Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker show very well chemistry in the movie. They are great actors with an awesome sense of humour and it was because of them that this movie was excellent and funny.
