My favorite Incidents in cricket ***Vol. 7 ****

This is the 7th Episode of the series of my favorite incidents of Cricket. It was the game played between The Host of the 2007 Cricket t 20 world cup and they are against the Mighty West Indies team. As it’s the first time that we are witnessing t 20 world cup and it is played in South Africa, so South Africa is the crowd and overall favorite to win the cup, so people are very excited to witness this first game of the cricket t 20 world cup, it was the first game of the World cup and it was played on Sep, 11, 2007 at Johannesburg, South Africa. South Africa won the toss and they have decided to bowl first, so West Indies will have to bat first. West Indies played so great cricket and posted a very great total and target of 205 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in their allotted 20 over’s with the help of mighty and blazing Chris henry Gayle, the fierce opener of the W I‘s who scored the 1^st hundred of t 20 matches at this grand occasion and made 117 runs in 57 balls with 7 fours and 10 towering sixes at the strike rate of 205.26, he was helped by DS smith who made 35 of 34 balls. So South Africa has a very stiff target in hand but they batted so well and made this target with 14 balls to spare with the services of H Gibbs who made 90 in 55 balls with 14 fours and 2 sixes with strike Rate of 163 with Graeme Smith and ab de villiers and Justin kemp playing their part. It was a remarkable match and al were excited to see this type of start of t 20 world cup as at that stage t 20 cricket is not much popular and people were not much with it but now cricket boards and ICC are trying to make more t 20 matches o that cricket can find its place in other countries as well, where cricket is not much popular.
