My Favorite cricket match **Vol. 12 **

12th in my list of my Favorite cricket match is a bilateral series played between India and Pakistan. This is the 3rd match of the ongoing series and with series tied at 1-1 as Pakistan won the 2nd one day International. This match is played at Arbab Niaz Stadium, Peshawar, Pakistan. This is the home ground of BOOM BOOM Shahid Afridi who explodes in the 2^nd One day International. This match played on 19^th march, 2004.

Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first, So India is bating first.

India started very badly and lost the wicket of little master and last Match’s Man of the match Sachin Tendulkar on 8 runs and India kept losing the wickets and only Yuvraj Singh made the major contribution by making 65 runs in 76 balls with 7 fours and 1 six at the strike rate of 86 and Saurav ganguly making 39 runs in 41 balls with 5 fours and 1 six at the strike rate of 95. India made the total of 244 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in allotted 50 over’s.

Pakistan need 245 runs to win this game in 50 over’s and to take 2-1 lead in the series.

Pakistan batted superbly well with Yasir Hameed making 98 runs in 116 balls with 14 fours at the srike rate of 84 and Abdul Razzaq making unbeaten 53 in 52 balls with 7 fours at the strike rate of 102. They lead Pakistan to a great victory and this gives them lead of 2-1 in the series with 2 more games to play.

Yasir hameed was the man of the match for his great knock.
