Movie Review of Jatt Boys- Putt Jattan De

Few days Back I watched a Movie titles Jatt Boys, Putt Jattan de , it’s a Punjabi movie whose title means the story of Son’s of Jatt, Jatt is a community in Sikh Religion which are very fearless and brave and they are mostly the rich people who are land lords and who have established good business.

The Movie is a Story of 3 friends namely Om puri, Guggu Gill, S Sohi. They were very good friends and live in a same village and all were married as well. Both Om puri and Guggu Gill has one son and S Sohi has one daughter only. After some time another lead actor in the movie M Sadiq, who is also residing in the small village is in the planning to grab the property of S Sohi who only has one Daughter and tried to separate the friendship of all three Om puri, Guggu Gill, S Sohi and he was successful in doing that.

After some years, by a share coincidence, All three’s Son’s and Daughter takes admission in same college and this sets the tone for the movie. Om Puri’s son loved the daughter of S Sohi but it was a one sided love as the Pretty young Girl’s role played by Isha Rikhi was not interested in him and just enjoys her college life with her friends. Both OM puri’s son and Guggu Gill’s son did not talk to each other as their fathers have told them to do not talk to each other and never indulge in fight with each other as well. But who can say that one day they both will fight for a Girl. On a special occasion in college, Guggu Gill’s son meets Isha Rikhi and Isha Rikhi was in love from that very moment and wants to get married with him soon. When Sippy Gill son of Om puri receives this news he felt so bad and it was M Sadiq‘s so who gave him the news. Sippy Gill in anger went to the Sun of om puri and wants to finish him as he himself was madly in love with Isha Rikhi. On a Special occasion all three were invited, Waris Brar, Isha Rikhi and Sippy Gill and there Sippy Gill proposes Isha Rikhi for marriage but She rejects him on the spot saying that she loves Waris Brar, and incidentally Waris Brar comes there and clear the doubts of both Sippy Gill and Isha Rikhi that he does not love Isha Rikhi and is already engaged to a Girl Names Sukhmani who is in Canada and coming to India Next week. So somehow he manages to help Sippy Gill and Isha Rikhi As well and now Isha Rikhi was shocked and now she knows and realizes how much Sippy Girl loves her and kisses him. Then Waris barar, requests them to return home safely as it was getting very dark. So on their way their car broke out and some guys kidnapped both Sippy Gill and Isha Rikhi.

In the next moment it was clarified that it was M Saddiq’a son who kidnapped both as he always feel irritated at the happiness of Sippy Gill, Isha Rikhi and Waris Brar. Actually he wants to take revenge of his father as according to him, Sippy Gill’s, Isha Rikhi’s and Waris Brar’s father has insulted his father in the past. In his anger he calls Waris brar and informs him that he has kidnapped both his friends, Sippy Gill and Isha Rikhi and if we want them alive he needs to come alone to set them free.

In Anger and Determination Waris Brar went there and fights with all the goons and defeat them and helps to set Isha Rikhi and Sippy Gill free. In the Next shot we witness that all the three families got united and were celebrating their happiness and there again M Sadiq and his son came and they were with their goons and guns as well. As I already said this community is very fearless and even own Guns as well, and they all beat the hell out of those goons and then in the last police came and arrests both M Sadiq, his son and their goons. So it was a very happy ending of the Movie.

This movie does not provide any such good message but still it was good entertaining movie which is good to watch and it has very good spells of comedy with the likes of J B Bhalla and K Anmol and other artists also done very well and the plus point which helped this movie was its Music and the songs were so very amazing. Also this movie depicts the things which are happening in the real life these days so the youth is more interested to watch these types of movies more. This film was the Debut movie of very talented Punjabi Singer Sippy Gill and he has done well with his acting as well, he’s a very great and renowned singer already and Isha Rikhi was always fabulous and is doing well in the Punjabi film Industry.

I think the things which make a movie hit or flop, is its Music, Star cast and Story of course, thought this movie does not have any inspiring story or background but still it has done well because the story was a bit different and also not a regular movie as well and songs were very well written and sung. K Anmol sang a song which was “ Yarra ve” which was a smash hit and was loved by all. That guy is a share talent, he’s a very good Artist, actor, singer, comedian and he’s a all rounder. But I think every Punjabi movie is incomplete without J B Bhalla, as he’s a very famous artiest and comedian who always has some quotes which are very nice and everyone loves him so much. In this movie he plays the role of a very Jolly Teacher, who is in love with a lady in the college but he was loved more by the lady teacher. In the end even he started to love the lady teacher as well, the lady teacher’s role was played by ever gorgeous and good artiest R Quershi.

There were many funny moments in the classes of Both J B Bhalla and R Quershi and the students did made a lot of fun in their classes.

This movie was directed by Simranjeet Singh Hundal, he’s himself a very nice person and soul.
