One of the neighbour kids just ran down the street shrieking at the top of his lungs. Very grating on the nerves! There are days when I wonder if we can invent a reversible laryngectomy…..

Your mention of using newspaper as a mulch reminded me of a video I saw for squash pits. Apparently if you dig a moderately deep hole and jam it full of old phone books and other paper, it holds the water in the ground beneath your zucchini, pumpkins, squash, etc. It’s supposed to really improve their productivity!

There was a time after I separated from my husband, I went through a bout of depression and not eating. In fact I didn’t eat for days. I was like a zombie walking around. I would be looking at t.v. and some one would ask me what I was watching and I didn’t have a clue.

I try to stay away from doctors. I think some times you get sick from the patients in the waiting room while you’re waiting to see the doctor!! lol

I fall in the sedentary group, as I have arthritis in my back. All (or at least most of my fat) is in my stomach. I also had my gallbladder removed. I also use to work outside the home as well. Maybe it’s age too!! I want to get a pedometer or fitbit to see how many steps I walk a day!!
