South Africa started very badly and lost their first 5 wickets and half of the team inside 70 runs in the form of G Kirsten, H Gibbs, M boucher, J kallis and H cronje in the 20.4 over’s. But they managed to reach 199 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in 50 over’s and all credit goes to L kluesner who made 52 runs in 45 balls with 5 4’s and 2 sixes with the strike rate of 116 runs in 100 balls and S elworthy who made 23 runs in 40 balls with 3 4’s and strike rate of 50 runs in 100 balls.
Sri lanka was needed to score 200 runs in 50 over’s to win this game.
Sri lanka was off to a horrible start and they lost their 5 wickets for only 31 runs in 13.2 over’s in the form of S jajaysuriya, Ramesh K, Marvan A, Aravinda de silva and Arjuna R.. They were bowled out for 110 runs in only 35.2 overs and lost the game by 89 runs.
Lance Klusener was the man of the Match for his all round performance and he was the won who made possible the total for South Africa.

This games are no known that much to some of us like the game of soccer which is world wide acclaimed. the understanding to this game of cricket is difficult just watching as it is to football, basket ball and other major sporting activities. it can only be interesting for those who understands it but to those of us who do not understand, it is like a game that a young child is watching. Just watching for the sake of wasting the time.
I think Australian team is now getting weaker. I am surprised at how some bowlers like zampa are getting wicket. Bowling such as that should get punished. But then again game and the players are lot different today.
