It is just my luck. I make plans to do something and then fate has other plans for me. My plans go out the window. It has always been like this, so most times I do not tell the universe my plans. That way I don’t have to worry about them becoming compromised or ruined. I learned this a long time ago. Maybe it is a family curse, since when those plans involve another family member, there is an increase in the likelihood that the plans will go awry.
When making plans that involve being outside, such as going to the park with my children, there is a 90% chance that it is going to be raining or colder than expected for the time of year it is. Usually for this type of activity, I will wait until the day that is convenient for us to go before telling my children that we are going somewhere. This way they will not be upset if we cannot go because of the weather.
Before I had children, I would like to go and do different activities on my days off from work. A friend and I would go explore somewhere close by to where we live, but it usually chose those days to rain. So we would not be able to do something outdoors like we wanted to. However on the days that I worked, the sun would be shining and the temperature would be perfectly comfortable. I would joke around that my family was cursed, but sometimes it really seemed like it was true.
Just recently, I have been gathering unneeded items from around my house to sell in a yard sale. For the past month, I have wanted to start this sale to make money for my family’s upcoming move and to reduce the things that I need to pack for move. Unfortunately, the weather refused to cooperate with me, since it has rained two weekends in a row. So, this weekend we decided we would get it all set up and put it out on Sunday. Well, did this happen? No, it did not. It was very cold and it decided to snow. Definitely not weather that is conducive to people being out looking for bargains and undiscovered treasure.
Perhaps, it is as a friend once said be careful about what you send out into the universe because it will come back to you. I may have sent out something negative at some point in my life and now it is coming back to haunt me for the rest of my life. Could it be if I sent out something positive, it would cancel out the negativity being drawn back to me?
My father used to say that if it wasn’t for bad luck, he wouldn’t any luck at all. Was the negativity bequeathed to me by my father? Does it even work that way? Will generation after generation of my family have the same luck as me? Will my children blame me for their streak of bad luck in their life? Whatever reason for my bad luck, there is one thing I know: it is just my luck.

I believe that there is no bad luck. It is just the state of the mind. As long as everyone lives, he has the vast opportunities to succeed for his endeavor in life. The plan is just a piece of goal or target to reach, to accomplish so as to direct one's effort to achieve his plan. However, it is a general fact that plan is always unrealized. It fails always. So you are right not to plan for your goal, or else you will get on disappointed and frustrated when those plans are not met. The luck that you are saying is what you are today.
haha, that means after you made your plan, you have to do the opposite!
Perhaps if you think about getting fired from work, your boss will get you a promotion with a nice bonus instead!
So better plan for the worst, then you get the best.
Unfortunately, that is the only time that my plan did not backfire. I really was fired from my job and I had been thinking that they should just fire me since I was not able to just leave on my own. I am actually the type of person who plans or expects the worst and it usually turns out better than expected. Maybe every day for me is opposite day. I need to reverse my thinking and then things will go forward instead of sideways and backwards. LOL
It is said that men propose and God dispose as you have seen practically but god does does better for men but men understand late God's planning for on earth. I think, weather stops you selling your stuff may better to have them in the house.
The holy Bible says about God's planning about earthly men as The Bible declares, “There is no wisdom and no understanding and no counsel against the Lord” (Prov. 21:30).
Concerning world rulers, a later king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, was humbled by God until he learned that “the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind, and bestows it on whom He wishes” (Dan. 4:17, 25).
As the psalmist expressed God’s response to proud kings who challenge His rule, “He who sits in the heavens laughs, the Lord scoffs at them” (Ps. 2:4). Concerning the plans of proud man, the Bible declares, “Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but the counsel of the Lord, it will stand” (Prov. 19:21).
