India defeated Bangladesh with the Powers of Sehwag and Kohli

The International Cricket council  world cup of  2011 was the most loved world cup for me as It happened in India and India went on to win the world cup and it was India’s 2nd world cup win after 1983 which was made possible by the team of Kapil dev. So in the India’s first match in ICC 2011 world cup, India was against the dangerous Bangladesh team. This match was played on Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka, Bangladesh on 19th Feb, 2011.

Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl first, So It’s India who will be batting first.

This is how Indian Team and 11 looks like: Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh, MS Dhoni (c & wk), Ashish Nehra, Gautam Gambhir, Suresh Raina, S Sreesanth, Piyush Chawla, Munaf Patel, Yusuf Pathan, Virat Kohli,Ravichandran Ashwin

And Bangladesh team was looking like this and their 11 is: Mohammad Ashraful, Abdur Razzak, Nazmul Hossain, Shahriar Nafees,Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Shakib Al Hasan (c), Tamim Iqbal, Junaid Siddique,Mahmudullah, Imrul Kayes, Naeem Islam, Rubel Hossain, Raqibul Hasan,Shafiul Islam, Suhrawadi Shuvo

India started very well with sachin tendulkar and Virender Sehwag. But soon Sachin Tendulkar was dismissed as run out. But virender Sehwag batted splendidly and made 175 runs in 140 balls with 14 4’s and 5 six at the strike rate of 125 runs in 100 balls and Virat Kohli also made 100 runs in 83 balls with 8 4’s and 2 sixes. India made 370 runs at the loss of only 4 wickets.

Bangladesh needs to make 371 runs in allotted 50 over’s to win this game.

Bangladesh started poorly and only Tamim iqbal batted well for his score of 70 runs in 86 balls with 3 4’s and 1 six and no one other batted properly. This was a very difficult task to chase this massive target and Bangladesh made 283 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in 50 over’s and lost this game by 87 runs.

Virender Sehwag was the man of the match.
